No one replied to your comment ... but i, for one, know what it's like to see your local community stuff get "put on the map." I'm in northern California, and have no idea where this is ... but i think it's baddass that it's in your back yard! You should be proud. This is as American as it gets!

There are fewer things more pathetic IMO than people committing wholesale animal abuse for ego's sake. I don't know which is worse--the people who commit these acts, or those who cheer them on. I have worked with a number of animals in my life, and I worked with cattle. I was in 4H and FFA, and I ran two wilderness homesteads, in case any of the rude Internet crowd try to falsely comment on my post saying I am a city girl who is ignorant, soft, and just doesn't "get it". I get it all right. I worked rodeos growing up, until I grew totally fed up with the pointlessness of most of it, and the constant abuse of animals. I'm also a military vet, know how to hunt with guns and bows, know how to fish, and lots of other "country stuff".

I hate people that do this to animals, they must cringe when they see that bunch coming for them
