Chyler honestly deserves the world she's so humble and caring and such a nice person. I love how much she realizes that she plays a really important role in peoples lives, unlike alot of other actors. She personaly helped me out alot and changed my life forever and im glad that so many others feel the same and show thier apprecation of it, i honeslty hope im as lucky as them one day to meet her. I hope we alot more of alex and her being happy in the future episodes

This was not only the best panel at ClexaCon but the best panel at any convention I have ever seen! I don't even have words for how important Chyler is. I honestly don't... I am just so grateful that I live at the same time as this woman exists and I was fortunate enough to watch shows she is in and to get attached to her characters and that way learning more about her and how amazing she is as a person. She was so graceful and so honest and it's heartwarming and honestly a bit overwhelming, this feeling I get when I watch her talk and especially at this panel because I am not used to such honesty and openness. Not only is she on our side and has our backs, but did you notice that not even once has she tried to defend the show? The words "Floriana was only signed on for one season" never left her mouth. She didn't try to justify how poorly handled the whole thing was and went as far as actually showing us that she is pretty pissed too at how it was all handled. This world doesn't deserve her. It just doesn't. I am so freaking grateful to her and to what she is doing and the tears in my eyes and the warmth and pull in my heart when I was watching this panel are the only thing that can describe how important she is to me because words are not enough. Thank you, Chyler for being there for us!

Agent Reign ...Well said my friend...she is a gift to us all and when she speaks...wow always from the heart and really thinks about what is about to come out of her mouth...Chyler has become a very special person to a lot of people and will iam sure always be a voice for many in years to come...ps so happy she saw the love

Rewatching this panel after Chyler came out. Just the emotions she has when talking about Alex's coming out scene make me think about her post of actually saying the words with truth to them. I love Chyler's openness about everything she was feeling during these types of scenes. :)

That was amazing, god chyler is just the most amazing person.

The whole situation with Floriana is still so raw. Also, I did like that the writers didn't kill her character off. Also, they could've cut so much with the stupid Mon-El story to make room for the 3/4 of Sanvers scenes that were left on the cutting room floor.

Me too and It frustrated me that the conversation went so fast to other "ships". But, I stopped watching after Flo left because I was afraid that would happen. I relied a little on youtube to find out how they handled it. To drop Maggie as an important element to Alex's happiness just cheapens that relationship. Sanvers was important to me and without them, the show became meaningless to me. I started watching the show because of Melissa but that changed quickly in S2 because Sanvers was more than just following a favor actress. Oh well there still may be an endgame if the show goes into S5.

Tbh at first I thought they should have let her get killed or anything, because it hurt so much to see the one relationship, wish was really important to me, to break so close before the wedding over a thing they should have talked about earlier in their relationship. I was like if even these two amazing women can’t live happily ever after, how can I? Like I’m glad now, but at the time it was very hard.

Now, the emotions of Chyler talking about Flo and the episode when Flo left the show makes sense so much....

I love how she chooses her words so carefully so that she conveys exactly what she means. And I love how profoundly this experience has effected her on a personal level. I don't think many other actresses would have immersed themselves in this journey off screen the way she did. It wasn't just about the job for her - it was about participating in a shared experience. I adore her for that.

When Chyler talked about Floriana's lesbian nod, tilt, AND killer dimples...I just had to cover my face and whisper softly: Yesssssss. 😳

All her words came with so much honesty and at that moment you know she's fully committed to respect our community and give us a great story. This is a true ally people, I hope Alex can find her true love and be happy, we know that Chyler will do her best, also her struggles in life are no joke, she's a great person for keeping the good fight for her kids and never giving up, no matter the hell she's been through, love her so much.

Shoutout to Dana for being an amazing moderator. One of the best I have ever seen

This panel could have gone on for multiple hours without me noticing. Chyler is so wonderful and so committed to this role, as well as to the community. She even took the risk of throwing herself into it and emotionally committing to it fully, so much even so that the break-up still makes her cry and broke her heart. I sometimes wonder why I keep watching Supergirl when I'm currently not too impressed with the writing and the character development and then I watch this panel and I remember: she brings that little bit of extra to it. Don't get me wrong, I love the dedication of the cast, I think Melissa and Jeremy and especially David are wonderful, but the overwhelming dedication of her to the character where the difference between the two sometimes melts away, that is certainly something special.

I'm re-watching this after Chyler's beautiful coming out post. Now, all of what she said makes more sense, especially the part in the beginning where she says this character has had the most impact and significance in her life. Been a fan of Chyler since Grey's.

We really need to protect and cherish Chyler so badly, cuz we don't get that many actors who actually fight so fiercely to give us the best, most positive representation or simply who so genuinely care about the LGBT community. She's an angel and we must not take her for granted.

I feel like, she's the only actress who is not weirded out AT ALL, that we care so deeply about ships! like.. and she knows EVERYTHING... it's just... wow.. she really cares!

Chyler is such an absolute badass who has so much courage and strength to open up, not only share her feelings about how the sanvers situation was delt with (while treading on some very thin ice) but her personal life as well and to sing a song which obviously has a huge impact on her. She tries so hard to make us happy and cares about our feelings. I wholeheartedly look up to this women.Thank you clexacon for sharing this moment!

Watching Chyler Leigh expressing and sharing her emotions so freely is liberating, in a world where people are imposed to be under control, so called 'strong' but really hide and repress their feelings, and where being an empathic sweetheart is considered a weakness. She is gifted. Props to Dana Piccoli who manages to listen to her guests first and to not disrupt them.

this is one of the panels that i dont skip moments in. i can listen to chyler forever because she is so humble and so gracious and i just love her! her character alex danvers helped me through so much and i can relate to her so much! much love to her and the cast of supergirl

This interview just affirmed how much I adore Chyler as an actress. I've been a fan since GA days.. I love her as Lexie and I love her even more as Alex. I'm just happy that I can watch her act and be Alex.

I've been going to cons since the late 90's and I'm hard pressed to think of a panel that felt like this one did. The energy was overwhelming, pure joy and gratitude. I don't think anyone else got a standing ovation.. she got three. I'm so, SO grateful for the opportunity to show her what she means to us. So many of us feel terribly alone, and her genuine compassion shines like a beacon. She lets us know that we're heard, we're safe, we're loved. Thank you, Chyler. Forever and always.

This is the most powerful panel that i have seen so far, wow this is just incredible! Chylar Leigh is the best!

Too soon implies gay people change partners quickly, which adds to the myth of gay people. I think they should wait a whole season before she seriously dates again. It seems as if they are doing that.

Chyler is such a sweetheart and the most genuine actress ever! love her,amazing person..

She's so raw and real and puts so much thought and so many emotions into her words. I'm so happy she took this role because she's so important to so many people, myself included. I doubt there's a single person on the earth that could have done a better job with Alex Danvers than she did. She just amazing, not to mention a fantastic singer.

I’m really glad she mentioned Greys and Lexie, because for me her character as Lexie Grey gave me the most fulfilment. Seeing a character that was very much like myself (but the older version), made me feel acknowledged and su safe. I love her as Alex so far, but as Lexie she really touched me and her storylines were very relatable to my own life.

I've not even started watching and I'm already crying 😭😭😭

Has to be the best and most honest panel on clexacon,, chyler is there alone facing and trying to justify how supergirl has played out, and shows she wasn’t happy with some decisions, Thank you Chyler for giving a full and what a wonderful soul xx

What an incredibly articulate person. Chyler is an extremely sensitive soul who is genuine and gentle. I am not a fan of supergirl as I stay away from anything that comes from CW but Chyler. My God, right from the start when my friend is raving about Supergirl, I felt for her potrayal and her grace. But my fear won over and CW n whatever it was messed up and Chyler suffered too because of that. Gosh! The one interview I was waiting to watch was Chyler's and it was worth it. All my goodwill wishes and love to this incredible woman 👏🌹

This was simply fantastic. I totally teared up during "Red Robin." What an amazing panel.

Chyler makes me feel so much not only towards the characters she plays but towards her. She gives so much of herself to us through everything she does and she does it all so beautifully and gracefully. She truly is an inspiration and a sweetheart. I love her so much she has such a big place in my heart. I just want to thank her for always being there.

I just love Chyler! Meeting her at Clexacon was a dream come true and then getting to talk to her a few weeks later at an East of Eli concert was amazing. She is so sweet, personal and down to earth. I’m holding out hope that there’s a woman out there God made for me that may be similar to Chyler. A girl can dream.

Chyler is a gem ❤️ watching her have to do mental gymnastics to avoid talking badly about her bosses while also trying not to offend the overly sensitive folks on social media was exhausting. Wow what an amazing interview and what an amazing person! Chyler cane across as real and thoughtful and frank and honest. I started watching casually and couldn't turn away! I do miss Sanvers but her talking so thoughtfully about it really has helped me to move on. It was obvious that she cared about that relationship and how it was handled as we do. What a fantastic actor and person!

Every single interview of Chyler that I see makes me wish to get to meet her in person at least once more than anything. And it saddens me because I may never get to meet her in person... She is such an amazing, powerful, and inteligent person, it is easy to love her.
