Aethrandir is actually a sweetheart... and so many assumed Amity was the most wholesome one. :)
It's amazing how the same campaign can be run in so many ways. In my game, Ismarck let Ireena at the hands of the players, fully believing, almost naively, that Vallaki was 100% safe. He had to go back to assume its position as the new burgomaster.
I love you guys, you have excellent chemistry and the RP is very convincing. I can see it when I here it. I can see a hung over Metrion, I can see Amity nervously speaking to a ferocious beast, I can see a broken Coaimhe. I have no words... 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
I'm enjoying this series. I'm running my first CoS game (just got to Vallaki), and I'm starting a second concurrent game. I hope to make some recap videos on the campaigns. This series has helped me see some finer details I can use in my own campaigns, so thank you! I especially took the idea to tell players that they are free to make characters who are not heroes, instead making people that are thrown into something horrible, seeking escape together. A few of them still made normal heroic or meme characters, but at least the tone is struck early on. :P
