Hello! Although I have the full card deck, it seems a bit unfair to leave out some details from the cards for us to review on our own. For example, Cathy does a great job going through every bullet on the cards and I greatly appreciated that. I would love to see some consistency in this, since all of the information is important to know. Thanks for helping students!

Love this info and it would also be nice to include more information about NFP and fertility awareness for biological female hormones and physiology. For example why some of these methods ARE effective and why many are not, since this isn't taught in school. Many patients and their partners don't understand that they ovulate before getting a period and that's why they can get pregnant while breastfeeding and not know they've made a return to fertility. I guess if it's not possible to expand on this topic viewers could look to resources such as Taking Charge of Your Fertility

NFP can actually be very accurate, although I would not recommend it for women who aren't self motivated to learn and observe signs every day and track data. I practice the fertility awareness method which is like NFP but uses barrier methods during the fertile window whereas NFP abstains until confirmation of ovulation. Neither one have anything to do with estimating. The apps you see will often estimate but you should only ever rely on your own data not a computer generated estimation. If anyone is interested in this because it is hormone free, the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility is amazing and teaches the method.
