I think for a guide, esp beginner, this has too much "just ignore that" or "just dps past that" most of us still are trying to grasp what half our abilities do. So: 1) If you're having him hit you with multiple volley of souls barrages other solid options are *reflect* (bone shield or greater bone shield will be equally effective. He is also not immune to reflect damage!) or *debilitate* (since you're using necromancy you have 100% accuracy and bone shield will also increase its duration based on the tier of the shield) 2) If you really are camping protect from necromancy the whole fight (ss is also a good option since he kicks off your prot prayers so often) don't forget to keybind it and remember *powder of protection* since you're using a salve(e) and not your amulet of souls for that extra damage reduction. 3) Also synchronizing well with protect from necromancy *the devoted and enhanced devoted perks* 4) For those of us that don't have 184m grimoirs, Jas book is also very solid here.

If ur still trying to learn ur abilities, practice using the style on a boss you already know how to do. I done like 200 raksha using necro to practice.. because I already know raksha mechanics.

It seems like RuneScape KZreadrs just slap beginner in the title for the algorithm or something, that or they’re so out of touch with what it’s like to not be a good pvmer that they don’t realize they’re not making a beginners guide

Against the minions you can use siphon, you dont even need to tag them, you will instantly go back to full health while doing AOE followed by a massive hit on Rasial, it can be a life saver for people struggling with the minions

Umm quick tip. You can add the first ability you get to your auto attack, it has no cool down, gains adrenaline, and makes it to where you use 2 abilities every attack. Instead of just one. Also, adding the skeletons to auto will help you not miss out on his extra dps.

It seems like his auto attacks are hitting me for consistently higher than what are in youtube guides. He always hits me for 3.5k+. I'm in t90 tank legs/chest, with t90 power for the rest, with t95 weapons. Is there a way to reduce his damage? Everyone seems to be using soulsplit for the most part without deflect necro.

Ok i tried for the 10x time, i can't battle him at all, there is no way for me to get anywhere with this, i won the quest thing, but trying to battle him after the quest absolutely impossible, can't even get him down 20% before I've used more than half my supplies

Wtf, i have T90 tank gear the damage is so hard before i take off 100k hp I already ate all the food, how the F do you even do this, and how is everyone going meh this is easy

3:04 Rasial will spawn more and more minions, and they will absolutely hurt you. I used all my food when Rasial is down to 250k hp. so you have to do a lot of dps to prevent him spawning more skeletons/zombies and that can be an issue for a lot of players.

It seems like even beginner guides for this game always assume a fair deal of knowledge going into them. For instance, how are you continuously attacking while clicking around the ground to dodge without having to re-click the boss or wait to get hit and auto-retaliate? Is there a setting for that? Is there a beginner guide for combat in general that addresses all the mechanics like that?

That is because I am manually pressing abilities. Revolution won't cast abilities if you are moving. But manual allows you to do this.

Revolution will cast them, BUT you’ve gotta click him and then immediately click a spot on the ground before you start moving towards him

If you haven't already get the zuk cape it helped me so much with this boss, it has got my time down from 4:30 to 1:30 and trust me I'm crap at PVM

The zuk cape is necessary. Turns death skulls into your best ability from your worst.

Hey just an fyi, the grim is apparently not working correctly with necromancy atm. From what I’ve been told and seen in other peoples streams the ful or jas book are both great alternatives.

FYI : I got the undead slayer basic ability for 236m before the release.

Anyways, ive manage to get 25 kills so far with your method but i still constantly die, i cannot have constant kills :/ and m average kill time is 3min

How do you see the debuffs and accuracy on the enemies? None of that shows up for me at all.

I have a question, i always have mobs on me? but all your videos show no mobs. Are you actively taking care of them or ignoring? Also it feels like my resonance, disruption shield arent working. THey still hit through??

Keep in mind when you resonance if other mobs are attacking they can "snipe" the resonance buff from you before the intended attack reaches you, and then you'll take damage instead. So either focus on the mobs or the timing of your resonance.

Devotion takes 50% adrenaline, how does everyone always have adrenalin and still use ultimates, i don't understand bossing at all

How do you not eat every single tic? I find my health to be depleted faster than yours(?) Or are you perhaps managing to get out more dps and that's where I faulter... I'ts a wonder watching you being able to do this, truly.

After the split soul ends, the soulsplit healing definitely helps depending on dps. However you will for sure be eating a ton during this fight though.

I was first for 1.5 hours getting about 20% in and hitting problems and having no food left i am now getting to ghost walls with most my food left but die to stupiddly stepping to close or forgetting about his special hit incoming hope i grt here soon thia is expensive to keepnrepeating every 1 minuite please just 1 kill tonstart off 😊

I absolutely dunked on rasial during the quest, tried him 4 times afterwards and got messed up bad. Like really bad. He just hits me hard even with my deflect necro up. Im doing something wrong but dont know what it is.

Fyi kalg grim and smokecloud are borderline useless as you dont have hit caps, ppl are killing the boss in 1:10 on reaver and ful book just sayin

I can only survive this in tank armour and a hellhound, dunno what else i can possibly do. Got just under 20kc but all with hellhound, anythin else i get destroyed.

Full manual lets you do this, if you keep pressing abilities while moving they will fire.

i cant do the end phase im very annoyed :o

It's basically the same, but in the quest it has half health, same as with Hermod

What if i cant afford to make any of the overload stuff, will i suffer? Also up to 700k of his hp all i am doing is eating blubber fish non-stop, because he keeps rapidly hitting me even with soul split or necro reflect prayer.

Overloads do make a world of difference yeah. Just make a few, then use them elsewhere to make more money to make more :)

This has been an extremely disappointing boss to die over and over too. Harmod was such a good intro to bossing, and arch- glacier made me hopeful for fun PVM. Rasial is absolutely garbage, I’m just stuffing my face and running around dying.

I feel it’s a bit too easy to obtain the new t95 weapons. It would make more sense if this boss dropped the new t90 weapons instead of having to make them. And maybe cap the weapons you make at t70. The rest should be boss drops like the other skills.

leaves reward space for t97+ weapons. Accessibility was the name of the game for this release. Next boss probably much harder with a grandmaster quest.
