I was making my first letter for a penpal, and was struggling on how to continue my letter, then this popped up!!!

I will post one in two weeks! ☺️ You can find penpals just by asking your followers on social media (that's what I did) or search for penpals using the hashtag #penpalswanted on IG!

If you watch my opening penpal letters videos, you will see that some of my penpals don't send a lot of stuff, and that is totally fine! Penpalling is all about meeting new people, so just write a letter introducing yourself and ask a couple of questions (just like if you were meeting someone new in real life!) Goodies are extra so you can send just a couple of things if you want! There's no right way to penpalling so just do whatever it feels right 😌

in portugal we put the sender's address on the top left corner of the envelope and the receiver's on the bottom right corner. so your penpal would put your address at the bottom right corner when sending you a letter!

Her return address was in the back! Some countries allow you to put your address in the back instead of in the front (Portugal is not one of them unfortunately) so my address (the receiver) is the only address in the front!

In my country i don’t necessarily need to write a return address for sending post. It just gets there even if I forget it. I didn’t know it was obligated in other countries

I didn't judge her, in fact, I think it's good that in your first letter you don't send anything, it creates the impression that you're not doing this for the goodies. If you don't have any goodies to give, you just don't give them, or you create your own! Handmade gifts are much better than washi tape (I actually have a video on how to spice up your penpal letter where I mention that!)
