Thanks to Everyone who left comments originally! and those who keep leaving comments. The Jackery winner was Paul. His original pinned comment is deleted, I don't know why he deleted it. Maybe got sick of the notifications? I only had one to give away. If you want me to do a giveaway like this in the future let me know and I will try to make it happen : )

I would love to give the jackery power station to my daughter, she's living out of her SUV. She's a traveling nurse going around to the different universities help test for Corona virus, staying up to 13 weeks in each City that she's assigned to work,. This would greatly help keep her phones, laptop and fan and other items charged.

Watching this video and comparing it to your early van build series....you've really grown not only in skill level but in terms of your confidence in tackling upgrades. Very proud to see this and super glad you're paying the knowledge forward to your audience. I'd use the Jackery system 365 days for daily jobsite needs to camping/weekends. Charging all sorts of batteries for cordless tools and cameras. But most importantly for running the blender to make cocktails for my friends.

Being in the framing process of the bed, cabinets and kitchen in my van, I already started out looking for information on electrical setups. All the info there is to find on the tube/internet is a bit overwhelming but your take on explaining it was super clear and helpfull, thank you for that! Having an all-in-one solution like Jackery would be awesome to be able to charge my laptop and work remotely from the places I have to now return home from after the weekends.

Oh my god - thank you, thank you, thank you. You are my hero. This is a video I am saving and will watch again during my van construction. The basics you explained has given me more confidence, tanks for the advice on wire size and tools. I have been considering a Jackery simply for mobile power even for car camping and emergency use but this is a way to incorporate it into my van as well. Again thank you for explaining this so well to a mature woman.

This is soooo simple! I don’t know much about electrical and im planing to buy a van next year so this would be sooooo helpful to have. You have explained this a lot better then other videos i have seen. Loved the part where it shows how many times you can charge something it made it easier to understand. I want to make my van everything electrical. I would plug an electrical heater, gopro to shoot all my future adventures, computer, small scanner, nintendo switch, tablet for rainy days, phones of course, power tools never know when i may need it.

Dont buy jackery, although its a very good power source, jackery takes forever to charge, they tend to give a lot of their product away to youtubers but the youtubers that receives the free product sometimes clouds their review, And they neglect to tell you it takes forever to charge, buy a rockpals or bluetti, do a little research you will see that the Jackery takes forever to charge😩😩😩

I've been intimidated about wiring my van and I intend to work with a simpler solar generator type set-up - this was a helpful video for understanding the concept. Much appreciated. I managed to live for a month in my van, working full time with a laptop, all powered by my Jackery 500. I was charging my laptop, iphone and MiFi device. I would plug it in while driving and it was about every three days that it would need to have a sleep over at a friends house using one of their 120V plug to top it off. I think the Jackery is a great way to get started into vanlife on very basic needs, if you cannot afford the money or time to do a full solar set up. As you said though, I had to be VERY mindful of usage. I did not have a fridge and my lights were simple magnetic battery powered pot lights. You can get away with very little if you want to or have to. I can see this Jackery 1000 being a great option for car dwellers. Could this unit potentially be powered by permanent solar panels on the roof? I assume so, just like any other.

Very helpful and easy to understand explanation. Thanks. Will probably get one for Sienna van conversion. Hope to drive from NJ to Alaska summer 2021 if covid permits.

We want to get into vanlife weekends! This would be super useful to make sure we can actually go from weekends to maybe weeks and work in the van :)

Thanks for the offer ! My wife and I would love to receive a Jackery for Promaster van yet to be. We ordered a van now , the wait.

Levi - love your channel! My wife and I just bought a 1972 Trillium 1300 fiberglass camper - pre-retirement plans. A Jackery all in one would be ideal in that little trailer!

I’d totally use it in and out of my van. I can think of tons of things to power. Laptop, camera, monitor, speaker, fan, work headset, lights and my phone.

My van is only a part-time camper so a battery system like this would be a sweeeet match to my solar panel!
