Have you completed the required quests done on the other account. You can easily hover the mouse or cursor on console over the quest to check the requirements

You can earn it from bartering, killing sea monsters, and buying them from the crow coin shops

Wonderful and all but how do I even start? Where do I go with my Epheria? How do I get the bartering goods to start bartering with? Can I ever autopath the deep sea or do I have to continuously hold W against strong winds for hours upon hours?

Barter routes are the land items you can gather or buy. You barter that to a level 1 route item which is bartered to level 2 then level 3 then level 4. That means you have to buy or gather the item needed to start the bartering route. If you dont see the route it's not open to you and you can't do that one. If you don't see it you'll have do another route or reset the barter routes.

Just getting into sailing so pardon me if I'm incorrect but are you able to use the maids for bartering goods? Now that we have access to all storages through magnus

Yes and no. We can use the maids but still need a warf manager to load them in.

Land goo's are those in which can be gathered, processed, hunted for, or bought off the central market. Sort tryout barteringbor look for land to level 1 barter routes to see then it's take level 1 to 2 then to 3 to 4 then 5

I’m in console, and I’m stuck with Marine Knight’s Helms and no barterer to trade to? Why is this? Do I just sell them? I can’t get a lvl 5 Octogon box if I do. Have I not discovered something ?

Either your barter routes aren't unlocked or it might not be apart of that rotation so you'll have to wait to check the next one.

I'm trying to start bartering. My barter menu doesn't show me the land goods to trade for the lvl1.

Set filter to All barter and scroll down, it's not always on the first row. Hope it helps

I’m a noob and borderline mentally challenged when it comes to these, that said, I would have liked to see how you pick which barter you are going to do, and most importantly how you get the materials for said barter, do you buy them, does it come on its own from npc?? That’s the part I’m having trouble with starting, the darn mats that’s required for the barter, where do you get it.

You have to use land goods to trade for level 1 barter goods. I gather all mine but can be bought from the CM

What if my land barter is not the item i need for level 1 bartering? I have been stuck on this for a hot minute.

Not sure what you mean. If it says Lion Hide for level 1 Barter Good, it would be barter Lion hide for the barter good.

@FinalsTwin my land is 3k of essence of liquor that rewards elder tree sap. But my level 1 item is ancient urn piece that rewards lv2 pirate ship mast. In this case would I have to buy or farm ancient urn piece? It's a bit confusing

Check what your filtering. There's always a land to land 1 or 2 land to barters

Barter whatever land item is needed. It shows you the item on your menu

No.. the quest has a level requirement to start or so says the quest. I don't know, I do everything on my main and not on toons lowers than 50
