Just bought a second hand m14 EBR, excited for it to arrive so I can test it out

560 fps, 2,56- 2,96 joules in Russia by rules and laws. I play with aeg 500 fps and 560 fps. Both i built start from upper and lower and barrel. For start, coaxillarity and straight body with barrel is initial conditions. Milled gearbox must have, I use Bullgear v2 upgraded qc. Custom processed lonex full cylinder.Tight and straight inner barrel i use custom processed Prometeus, milled hop up unit- aluminium milled piston, piston head, cyllinder head, I use Combat union . Ajustble nozzle by Retroarms. Torque motor from machine gun. 11,1 v 50c battery with optical gate and trigger i use Arm V Desire. Less mecnics, more Optics. Strong fixation of hop up in barrel is crucial. Mags with out wobbling is crucial, I use cyma, yes metal cyma, standart cyma, But with custom spring by MW, I glued PU thin stripes inside magwell. Rubber bucking or sil hop? Start from bucking. And omega type nub. If result dont like to you, bravely put your inner barell into milling machine, and make silhop. And get 90- 100 m of accuracy and dominance. Yep, geoff heavys 0,45- 0, 48 strongly recomeended. And semi auto. You will be hit all player. More hit. Less shoot. 1-2 mags for game. Very economical. Look expencive? Nope. Buy New, what is expencive. All gun from the box you will upgrade. Crytac, TM? Is not ideal airsoft gun under Sun. What more secret- totaly nevermind what blow bb. Aeg, gbb, hpa, spring- exaust is exaust. Fps is fps. Its only meaning. Reliable meaning. Repair meaning. Spare parts, interchangeble mags meaning.

I can imagine a milled gesrbox is a must at those power levels, can't imagine many stock gearboxes will stay intact with the spring required to reach those FPS levels.

There is full auto on some DMR’s but that’s mostly in a case of you just wanting to say spray an area with pellets either because it’s more convenient or needed as in a case of the target being behind a small bit of cover and spraying the area hoping for one pellet to hit its mark or as a way of covering your teammates, by allowing them to move all the while being outside of the enemies engagement range protecting you and your teammates, however yes as the video says most if not all DMR’s or marksmen tend to 99% of the time keep the gun on semi.

Been slowly working on a tokyo marui g3sg1that i picked up second hand as it was supposed to be set up for dmr hahaha yeah well. Hoping to field it in a weeks time having gutted the internals and replaced them with a wolverine inferno, fitted an lct rail, harris bipod, vortex strikefire and vortex 3x magnifier. Question though, Any tips on learning to easily judge the 25 metre med used at most sites.

mainly the best way in my own opinion is to get a polarstar or hpa engine than tune it for your gun like the kythrea where you can have realizum and keep it pretty quiet

What spring did you added to the m14?

I played a game against two guys armed with SMG’s and to cut a king story short my friend was shouting at me because I was shooting him outside of his engagement distance all the while stuck inside of a small hut with two doors either side and a massive window at the front😂

Is the m14 good for range and reliability?

Hi Shane. Super useful video, thanks. What do you recommend as a minimum for an out of the box TM HK417? Or is there another vendor with better options?

As a minimum for a TM that is going to be turned into a DMR, a 80 or 90 degree hop rubber, upgraded high torque motor and a mosfet. If you're not building a dmr, then skirmish with it and see how you find it before spending a fortune, but as a dmr that 290 fps needs lifting quite a bit to make it what youd expect from a dmr and then a few basic upgrades as listed would help with that level of power upgrade, worth upgrading the gears too depending how much power you add, over 400 fps then id definitely look at higher ratio quality gears

@@oxy728 well.. my m27 is about 2k€😅 but you can build solid one for about 1200.. and I'm in Europe, so if you're in USA prices might be slightly different

400fps ( 0.2) i thing you are in England... In ur country is 2.35j 500fps bolt action to from 2.35-4j(650fps on 0.2) .... 400fps on 0.2 is 1.45 j(low as fuck on dmr wherever you are except England..i thing shots from bb seem to hurt too much statistical Englishman but it calls """ safety reason""")ok after I joked, that's enough:D:D:D .That's why we should stop mastering in fps and go only to J...(film is from 2021 and J measuring oficial is from 2022) DMR rules in asg is outer barrel must be 16 inches without silencers and ect.+auto lock. M16 witch 14 inch barrel + silencer+auto lock is still assault rifle with a silencer and lock auto... not dmr... Also nice stuff nice film , keep it up man Greetings BTW nice m14 realy nice pice of replica:D I have a classic in wood with a mounting rail for optics, ww2 style. I like your modern version very much .. As a modern dmr I have a mk12 mod1spr with 1.5 / 5/40 optics, similar to Lone Survivor but without sand painting
