I like how painting the water lilies with slight overlap naturally creates the needed shadow edge seen in the reference photo. Tidelines working out well.

Great example Liron! Very very happy to hear from you! It’s good to keep busy and to continue. Painting tons of lily pads can be confusing especially in bloom. I think even Monet just added where he saw fit in pastels anyways. Hang in there!😊

I have that same smaller palette. It is Sennelier. I love it. That particular light green looks like the PHTHALO GREEN LIGHT that comes with it. Thanks for your instruction. It is helpful.

Don't try for long blocks of time. Instead, work in 5-15 min blocks and that's it! You'll be surprised how much you'll accomplish over time. Good luck!
