    Would be awesome if you did a video on playing “Doubles”, it is something I still do to this day that always adds more thickness and beafens up tracks that I already hold in high regard! Dj’s like Mark Farina, Gene Farris, nd many more extremely krafty Dj’s.. David Alvarado (Live on London🔥🔥)… It’s an awesome addition to any Dj’s kraft. That Flange effect is just the tip of the iceberg

    Done the beginner and intermediate courses and can definitely recommend Crossfader - both for course content and the way the lessons are taught. There is so much that as a 'newbie' you just don't know that you don't know about and the courses solved that and got me up and running so quickly. The Crossfader team are clearly passionate and knowledgeable about helping others develop DJ skills, with a support team that are so helpful when I had a couple of queries/requests which they couldn't do enough to sort out. Thanks Jamie and the rest of the Crossfader team. Looking to move to 4 decks now so will soon be taking the advanced or transitions course.... decisions, decisions! 😂

    Thx, gives good perspective. I would be particularly interested in advanced techniques for house or techno music, more stuff that plays in underground scene and acapella or effects are less used like in edm. Any plans to make videos for such genres? Or do the same techniques apply?

    I'm just glad you called them "extra" skills. I've only been at this for a year in earnest (as in "practicing every day") but I just do not have this dexterity (yet). 3-4 decks is the one thing I've got down, that just works with my brain really well.

    Jamie... incredible lesson. one question with regards to the renegade master acapella chopping... when you've set the top row of hot cues to drop - are your hot cue buttons set to Gate or Trigger ? and how have you got the two cue buttons on the bottom row to activate two separate loops without changing the effect ? i have a denon prime 4, could i set it to do this and how ? id be interested in taking up one of your corses, i am beyond beginner but looking to advance to the techniques taught in the lesson. which course would best suit please ?

    Hello and good day. I'm kind a old with this yet "advanced" but not truly a pro level. I came from wax on techniques 1200's then CDJ Denon's at the radio station and now here...with a Pioneer DDJ-200(back-up) DDJ-400(main) and have both VRDJ 2021, Rekordbox and Serato onboard. I've been watching since 2021. Where should I start??

    I don't think Traktor will let you tighten up a loop like that with the jog wheel, may have to custom map something like that in Traktor. Not sure if that would be worth losing the jog wheel initial function.

  • @luukipuuk3537

    @luukipuuk3537

    It’s actually really easy on traktor. If you have a loop selected just turn the loop knob to the left to divide it in 2

  • @SpaceTribe01

    @SpaceTribe01

    @@luukipuuk3537, this is understood, but I don't think this loop truncation is happening only with continued half loop each time, it seems to be a much smoother tightening process. I could be mistaken, but seems like this technical use is different. At least to my ears...
