Beginner Tutorial - Simple Traveler's Notebook Journal

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Making a simple traveler's notebook for my husband for Father's Day. He wanted "no frills". I thought this was an opportunity to show how fast and easy making a TN for yourself can be! I hope it's helpful!

I just love that your Hubs asked you for this! I quilted for years, showing my hubby each one I got done. One day he said, "so where's mine?" I was gobsmacked! In all that time, I had never thought to make him one! So you can be sure he got a Scottish links golf quilt pronto!

I tried leaving the threads on the outside for the first time yesterday. I don’t like it. I know it’s just preference, but I didn’t know my preference until I tried it. 😁 I had a video idea for you the other day. (You can absolutely say “no thanks Samantha”) Gayle’s top 5 ephemera pieces & you show us how to make your top 5 go-to ephemera pieces you always make for journals. I love that Mr. A wanted a journal. Shows how much he loves you. 😁💜👍🏻🌈

An online friend from Facebook gave me your link because I told her I get frustrated and confused after watching tutorial’s on how to make Junk Journals and I end up not even wanting to try. After watching this wonderful video I don’t feel overwhelmed and I’m really excited to give it a go. Thank you so much for making it SIMPLE from start to finish. My biggest issue was HOW DO I KNOW WHAT PAPERS TO USE AND HOW DO I STACK THEM... and now I know. As I was watching this video my daughter was laying next to me trying to fall asleep... she said your voice was soothing, I agree. Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you to your hubby as well
