Came to the comments to say the exact same thing.
It was just fantastic, thank you very much for this summary, I learned a lot from it. I subscribed and I can see that you have a lot of Obsidian videos. I will definitely watch those too.
You're the best. I finally understand a little bit of the structure of writing dvjs. I have quite a number of dataview sample vault, but I still know very little about code. Subscribing to see more on dvjs!
Awesome video, Danny! I added one more field underneath "TABLE WITHOUT ID": "("![Image|100](" + image + ")") as Image" so now if the contact has the `image` field with a photo url address in the contact, it will render beside their name.
Oh joy!!!! Just love a !simple explanation of DataView AND so elegantly done. Thank you, for all us non-coders.

Very well written 😅 good syntax 😉
Hi Danny, thanks for making these videos, you are a great presenter/teacher. Really enjoy working along step by step.
Uff! Bro, Dataview is seriously a powerful plugin over all.
This is an incredible tutorial. Thank you, Danny. I learned so much with this and got so many ideas on how to better structure and ultimately FIND my notes without using needless plugins.
Any idea how many tutorials I've looked for, to find yours to be astonishing well done and able to provide not only clear and structured information, but also confidence (alright, in you, but also in myself)?
This is beautifully clear and helpful. Thank you!
GREAT Job! Thanks much Danny for answering questions I had about Dataview.
Great tutorial! Thank you Danny
Exceptional video, found the potential of the Dataview plugin through watching this video.
Killed it with this one Danny - nice job

Best dataview video I've ever watched.
I now know what it feels like to manifest content.
Great video, thanks! Would love one on tips for publishing a dataview query (e.g. table or list) using Obsidian Publish.

Publish doesnt currently support community plugins unfortunately.
Best tutorial ive watch so far 👌
Very practical!
This is incredible. Did you learn this mostly on your own and just from reviewing the documentation?

Yes 😁
very useful, thanks
Thanks for this very clear video! I have only one remark/question. I use links in one of my properties. According to the instruction in the help file, a link should be like "[[notename]]" (so including quotation marks). If you look in source mode this is exactly what you see. But when you use this notation of the link in a WHERE statement, it results in an empty query. But without the quotation marks it works well. This seems to me inconsistent. Do you agree, or have I misinterpreted the instructions?

I agree. Dataviee and Obsidian property syntax are not exactly the same. Datatypes become a friction point when doing more advanced queries with expressions. A frustration, hopefully Obsidian databases may solve.
One serious question. Is it possible to make functional metadata keys with more than two words with blankspaces in between? Because it gives me errors, so, I tried to put some parenthesis and apostrophes combinations with no success at all. Thanks in advance.

Sorts can be tricky with the syntax. Might be easier to ask in discord 😁
