That entire verbal description was displayed perfectly in time with the actions, and as a qualified Windsurfing instructor myself who ran my own Windsurfing school I was well aware of the introduction and description of the same actions in perfect timing was imperative to those under tuition to gain knowledge of the same with ease.👍

Have sailed yachts for 23 years, just took up surfing about 4 years ago now and flew stunt kites for 22 years. Just snagged an old Bic Electric Rock in excellent condition to start. Thank you great instruction! Helped with tacking upwind a lot. Greetings from Pacific Coast, Oregon.

Thanks! Quality instructional video. 30 seasons of windsurfing, but still find the video useful. Especially the "top tips". With the years and experience you tend to windsurf by "instinct, feel" v. thought. At times it's hard to explain the hows and whys to a newbie. Sent the video link to a friend who is just starting. If your an absolute Beginner windsurfing and are looking at buying a Board... if you can't get advice... look at RigGeek.com. There is a direct relation of body-weight to Board size to rig and fin size and the liters volume of the board. There is a windsurfing gear calculator in RigGeek.com that is free and Priceless. It will save you a fortune. That's if you can't get along to Gem Halls workshops. ( he's the best IMHO) We all want our sport to grow again,. Share and Enjoy.

Great point. Any beginning windsurfing video or instruction needs to "remember" one thing. STANDING on the board is a skill in itself for anyone who has never surfed, waterski, skateboards,...etc. Also, when you have wind you have CHOP. Yes, the water is going up/down. Why not start from basic. How to STAND on the board and not fall off. Don't be in a rush to grab the line. Also, if you feel like falling just drop that damn sail. Start again. That's part of learning and building strength.
