    If the adjective goes after how do you explain 'mala comida negra'. The good and bad seem to have their own rules which I don't understand.

    I liked the video until you described SER vs ESTAR as in "permanent and temporary". I never teach my students this because it confuses them. I always ask them, when a person is dead, is he permanently dead, or temporarily dead? The answer is "permanently" therefore using the descriptors "permanent and temporary". for SER and ESTAR is wrong.
