Beginner Sourdough Recipe // No fuss, no fail, breaking all the rules
I read all the blogs and watched the KZread videos but here’s what gave me the courage to finally start sourdough. Welcome to my kitchen, I’m taking you through my weekly process of making sourdough bread for our family. I hope I can simplify and take away any fear of failing you might have. Loved this video!! I tell people all the time that sourdough isn’t as scary as it seems - just gonna share this next time :P also, I laughed when you said you find weighing to be too cumbersome because that’s how I feel about measuring cups lol! 😂

I just bought a sour dough starter last week. Thanks for this video! What kind of flour do you prefer for feeding? And is it the same kind you add to bake the loaf?

Amazing!! Oh I so hope you have had some success! I use all purpose. Nothing fancy or organic. Just Costco. I did try using Aldi flour once and it make the loaf really weird - still good but it was a weird consistency so I don’t recommend that.
Do you need a special knife for cutting the bread?

I use the bread knife that came in our big set, but it’s tiny. A full size bread knife would be helpful!
