    @@DriftmastersJason Best to start slalom with rockered setup. With flat setup you can manage first 5 tricks, but after that it will be twice harder to learn.

    One thing I noticed that needs to be taken into account is that his skates have a rocker setup. This basically means the front and rear wheels are smaller than the inner 2, replicating the curved edge of a hockey ice skate blade, which also makes side-to-side motion easier. Most inline skates have a flat setup where all wheels are the same size and are always in contact with the ground, unless performing tricks involving the first and/or last wheels only. You can still perform the same tricks, but you will need to use more muscle as you need to turn 4 wheels instead of 2 (and the fact that the outer wheels will move faster and produce more friction). Something to take into consideration if you're struggling to do these exercises.

    Lol I love that end routine, one I want to have the flow, I will practice these moves as I want to get better at slalom and street skating. Can you practice just as effective with a few cones instead or is is best to practice with plenty so you get used to them, the max I have is 10 cones? Also what distance between the cones should I start with? Thank you

  • @Inmoveskates

    @Inmoveskates

    ICT Flow usually I use 20 or 10 cones. But 20 is better as gives more freedom. Anyway there is no limits and you even can use 1 cone. Start from 80CM if you have “banana” or rockerable frame/wheels. If not, use 120CM first. But later go to 80CM as you can do there more interesting tricks and moves.

    Hello, Lydia, Standard - 80 CM. Beginners can also use 120 CM for firs steps and than try 80 CM. Usually 20 or 10 cones. Basic slalom - yes, possible. But much easier to use rocker frame or wheels(means 1st and 4th wheels are on 4-6mm smaller than 2nd and 3rd).

  • @Inmoveskates

    @Inmoveskates

    Hello, Yes, possible but with rocked frame easier to turn. That's why it will be more or less the same if you will put twice more space between cones. Our first two lessons it's ok to do on flat frame. But than it's better to put 1st and 4th wheels smaller (74-76mm instead of 80mm for example) than 2nd and 3rd (80mm for example).

    VRSArtist hello. 1) how to control your speed on Lemon. Practice lemon on one cone forward and backward. After you will do it fast it means you will understand how to stop yourself by pushing out on inside edges of your skates, plus your weight goes backward to stop. Guess the easiest to practice this and after you will control your speed.

    i'm a beginer and i'm trying to learn slalom tricks to improve my overall skating for city cruising safely. i can easly do the mid to the last tricks, but i simply can't make the first ones, it's easy to push both skates out, then both skates in, but how should i push them both to the same side? i've tried in a lot of turns and the outside foot always go forward making a cringy form and forcing me to a wider ratio, if i try to force my foot together and the inside foot of the turn to the front i simply lose balance and naturaly bend to the back and automatically close to falling. last time i skated practiced alot of balance tricks, spins and T stop but quick and short slalom turns still a no go for me :( frustrating! >.

    Hello, you mean how to do Lemons(or different tricks?) forward and backward pushing two skates together, not separately? Let me know more information so I will try to help. If it's about lemons I do it using edges, knees, weight and pushing, all together helps to do it smoothly and fast(great practice doing Lemons back and forth it's a good exercise for muscles).

  • @DanilloMagalhaes

    @DanilloMagalhaes

    InMoveSkates the lemons i can do easly, the problem is with the slalom turns, ir the "fish" i think it's Called in the video, to quickly turn in a small ratio to the right with the inside foot (right foot) slightly forward and press both feet to the right, then straight it out or imediatly turn to the left puting the left foot slightly foward. I believe mastering this will make every skater safer to dodge any obsticle and make any turn at any speed (except when crossover would fit better, still plan to learn this one aswell) but i cant simplye do it :(
