Really good video yet again! Bit off subject but have you done or looking to do any ballroom videos? During lockdown space has limited my ballroom skills (probably a lot of other people as well) and its fallen behind Latin routines. Have found your videos have improved my skills a lot! Also I assume you two are dance partners? If so do you struggle with a height difference in ballroom? Thanks Troy :-)

Hi, I have a question. I am on a ballroom dance team and some of my friends on team tell me I am very stiff when dancing, what exactly does that mean? And how do I fix it?

Hey, It might be because you either tense up your muscles too much or move your body parts at the same time. Try some isolation exercises like this one kzread.info/dash/bejne/pX2MxdanZ8_fn5s.html

for all kinds of dance, shouldn't the leader be sensitive about the height of the follower? Notice this leader put his left hand at the height of his eye level instead of the follower's - comfortable for him but not the follower >

I have danced with Andrey for almost 5 years! His frame is actually very comfortable and also proper as the leaders left arm should be right above the followers head so if the follower needs to turn it’s faster to lead!

@@amandabesyedin1331 I see. Good for you both then. I've been night club dancing with people I don't know and notice that the followers will not mistakenly turn when the leader's hand is placed at the followers' eye/ear level. Once it's above their heads, they would turn whether you want them or not, by instinct I guess...

@@amandabesyedin1331 If the leader starts out already with their hands above the followers' head and stay at that level at all times, not sure if the followers will catch the turn signal as fast, especially when the lead for the turn is not sideways...they can just go forward & back with the leader. Very often I heard the leader saying," Hey, you are supposed to turn, girl."

In real world club dancing, better keep your feet under your body - the way the lady sticks out her leg like this (when going back) increase your chance to step on people or worse, get stepped on. Not to mention that it makes you look very beginner...

I don’t understand the turn. Slowed it down to 0.25 without understanding step 2. Solo dancing 🕺 is much more fascinating. I’m completely paralysed with this pair dancing 💃.Not your fault, but it’s not my cup of tea.
