This will be my 31st Comic-Con. It never gets old. I remember back in the olden days of driving down on a Saturday, paying $25 at the door, they hand you a badge on which you write your name, and walking onto the floor.

This will be my first year going! I’m very excited to be going but I just wanted to say that it’s crazy to hear you’ve been going since 2005! I was born during that year and it never occurred to me that San Diego Comic Con has happened for so long! Thank you for this helpful video!!!

Comic con for my family and friends is a full 10-month production.; Tix, hotels airline tickets, things to do in SD and of course checking out all the panels, exclusives and outside stuff. Every year, we have a BLAST!!!!

Love Comic Con, This is my 35th year of being around Comic Con, It’s just really exciting to be around it, Love the characters of a variety of hit tv shows and films. The crowds, people watching!!! The best time was in 2018-2019 I walking the hall and this women said does any want my Frank Miller signature today. I was like YES. I had 15 minutes to buy something for for him to signed. I got a cool Dark Knight miniature head and headed off the main floor. He was in line and I got my signature. It was a amazing time, gotten to talk to him and get his signature. It was the strangest time because it happened with 20 minutes and that was that. It was FREE! What fantastic time in the middle of the con. What a cool event and speaks of the excitement of being there and saying YES! Thanks for you pre-convention video. Keep they coming. I have pictures of me as well. You can see my excitement and the joy of being at the con. Question: any ideas on LEGO toy sets being released for sdcc? I would love to get one (miniature or set). PostCovent has change so much. Thank you and wife for your love of the Con!!❤ César

Congrats on that great Miller story! Fantastic! Regarding Lego, we hope but nothing has been said so far. We’ll see

I remember when the Fox booth gave away posters and poster tubes. Also, make line friends, especially if you are a 1. newcomer, 2. novice, and 3. rookie. Lots of people are willing to help, give advice, and answer questions. Make lists if you want, and have fun. One thing is also to keep your eyes peeled on the convention floor. There are times when you might see a celebrity walking around. Stay hydrated, eat, and have fun! Great advice on keeping up on social media. Follow your favorites, and they will post things often.

I love watching your videos for SDCC. They definitely get me hyped up for comic-con 😊

I've been 6-7 times since 2011. I'd recommend people seek out tickets to the Masquerade Ball/Costume contest for Saturday night.. it's always a blast and I've had to go standby a couple years which was annoying waiting in that line wondering if your gonna make it.. they typically are handing out the tickets in the expo hall all day up until saturday.. . Comic Con is Always enjoyable and I'm always surprised by something.. 2017 I didn't know I was walking by Ready Player one signing booth in the expo.. and look to my left and 4 ft away is Steven Spielberg looking directly back at me.. was way cool. I only got tickets for Thursday this year sadly.. but as long as I get to roam the Expo hall and pop in on a few panels I think I'll be satisfied. I get there Wednesday afternoon and leave Friday afternoon so I should have time for some off site stuff too.

First time back to SDCC since the late 90's. I was only able to get tickets for Thursday and Sunday. Question is are there any good panels in hall H those days or am I going to miss out?

Ive been going for 10 years and now im going to try the Portal.... I guess there was so much to see and swag to hold on to that I bypass Portal stuff...though everytime i pass the Funko Pop stand I get jealous😂

It will depend on what other panels are offered and where you want to be in the room. Front 1/3 is very different time commitment than the back 2/3. The easiest way to approach is to monitor Twitter/X for like updates. There’s so many factors that it’s really impossible to guess this far out

Is there ANY other way to get a pass for one of the days of SDCC if you weren’t able to buy a pass? I’ve never gone because I’m in the military and was stationed overseas, but recently moved back to Cali. I really want to go this year! 😢

The Comic-Con Museum has a tier of membership that includes one. It’s pricey, but it is the only official way in as of this writing. If not able to get tickets, there’s so much to do outside the convention center that it can fill days. Very popular stuff
