    Thanks for this tutorial this is really helpful, but it will be nice if you can edit the practice file to be the same as the original how you start the tutorial because I would like to follow how you do but all the actions are already applied in practice files.

    Weird. 2 Questions. On my Marvelous Designer 10- I do not have the option to change the topstitch from OBJ to texture. Also- I do not see the puckering option anywhere on interface. Been trying to search for hours as well as asking the developer. No responses.

    As this video is about Clo3d it does have different features than Marvelous Designer. Marvelous Designer does not have the puckering feature that clo has, users have previously found in older versions that they did not like the puckering texture in Marvelous Designer and it was removed.

    Topstitch is not available during simulation. Each stitch is an OBJ and simulating all of this would be too much.

    Hello, Great job on the tutorials, they are very clear and informative. I have one doubt, I cannot really see the puckering on the 3D garment after I’ve applied it. Nothing changes visually, the seams are not very distinguishable for me (at all, not just in this chapter of the programme) I’m working with a Mac Pro 2017. Could this cause the issue? Thank you.

    Hi. Make sure that you have Puckering Turned on in the 3D vertical Toggle for the 3D window. You can find a tutorial about the toggle here : studio.kzread.infoD4Y1p1n69c0/edit Do you see puckering when you turn on the Render Engine? For your mac the age of your computer may be the cause. Make sure you have updated to the latest OS. You can also find our Recommended specs here : support.clo3d.com/hc/en-us/articles/115000307168-CLO-system-requirements-September-2023-

    @@CLO3D Yes, I do have the 3D toggle settings correct. Unfortunately, even after watching the tutorial you linked, my view of the seams is basically non existent. The depth is not there. Also for the puckering, which does seem to work once I have added the elastic band like in one of the previous tutorials. But by itself, it is not visible in 3D nor render. The specs of my laptop in relation to Clo’s are good, they achieve the minimum and lean more towards the recommended side.

    Hello, How do you top stitch through multiple layers?

  • @CLO3D

    @CLO3D

    3 жыл бұрын

    Top stitch is applied only to the top layer. Sewing/stitching is not done the same as it is in the real world. You can apply the topstitch to all layers to visually it appears to go through all layers.

    You might have simulation on. When simulation is ON (arrow is blue) the top stitches disappear to help speed up simulation, this is normal. When you turn simulation off (arrow is grey) they will appear again

  • @CLO3D

    @CLO3D

    @@komalupadhya4551 Yes you can increase the Thread Thickness number to make the tread thicker. There is an area called Offset that will increase the distance of the stitch from the edge (similar to how hem heights are measured). There is also Width which will increase the actual width of a stitch that has this, such as Zig Zag or Overlock. When you change to these stitch types Width will then appear in the property editor. If you are on single needle then you will not see width. If you want to create a Double needle this will be found at the very bottom of the topstitch editor, change Number of lines to 2 (or more) and then distance will appear below that. Offset will still move these two lines together - offset will be measured to the bottom stitch in this case.
