mini gt is also a good option which produces a wide variety of models from OEM to tuner and race cars. lots of brands as well and regularly putting out new models. all roll but may lose accurate ride height and not as detailed as other more expensive brands. it is very good quality and detail for its price. would recommend as a cheaper entry point

I recently bought Minigt's M4 GT3 and Defender 110, their quality and detail are absolutely unparalleled for the price point of ~$15.
Long time collector of 1/18, but I've been moving more towards 1/43 & 64tg scale. Thanks for reviewing all the popular brands. Good video. Can't wait for my INNO pre order!
Such an insightful video! Thumbs up 👍

Hobby Japan is the best of them all 👌

They're a good brand for sure!
you should've mentioned Mini GT. the price point to quality just can't be beat vs any of these. my collection is on the cheaper end, i try to stay under $20 so lots of HW premiums and MiniGT though i recently picked up the Tarmac Works Lancer 6.5 Safari Rally 2001 and i *love* it, will definitely keep an eye out for more TW. I mainly stick to 80s-90s Rally and European racing but am looking into getting into some JGTC. a big sticking point for me is the cars have to roll, which eliminates a lot of the pricier brands, thankfully.
Excelent my friend

some additional info on tarmac works. there are currently three different lines - global64: OEM cars and race cars which roll but less detailed and are cheaper. road64 are their top tier line for road cars and may not roll if ride does not allow. hobby64 is their top tier line for race cars and tuner cars and most won't roll due to low ride height but may roll if ride height allows like the race pickup trucks

Excellent points for Tarmac Works. Thank you!

Global64 are sometimes as expensive or even more expensive than Road64 and Hobby64 on a few cases which gets things confusing for those that doesn't check often, despite the ranking of the product lines. Mostly due to scalpers (ugh) but certain desirable models shoot up in price
Inno64 and HobbyJapan 🔥

hi! I really love your content and just got into the more serious modelcars (as opposed to my old hotwheel collection). I ordered an LCD Mclaren f1 based on the videos on youtube because they seem very detailed. Do you have any experience with LCD by any chance and do you maybe know why there is so little information about it? many thanks and greetings from belgium!!

Hi! What about Schuco and Kyosho? I have a few models.
Hey James, i would like to know your opinion about Fuelme. They seem to be one of the most "worth it" Brands to buy, i got a very detailed gunther werks porsche for about $40 which is very cheap for a resin but extremely detailed

What are some of the best 1/43 makers out there other than autoart and kyosho? I know Minichamps has a line but their detail seems pretty basic like the bburago 1/43 cars. Tarmac works makes some pretty sweet rwb Porsches but it's hard to find good detailed reviews with a lot of close ups.

Ebbro definitely one of the brands that are on top for me because they're very cheap and detailed, Mark43 is a bit too expensive for me but they're like the 1/43 version of Hobby Japan. Spark is also very very good with their 1/43 line of cars
You should also showcase Kaido House!

These are the brands with models that can roll on their wheels, based on what I know so far for 1:64 scale: Mini GT Tarmac Works GLOBAL64 Inno64 (I could be mistaken) Micro Turbo
which fit me best? None, they don’t make trucks like M2
Which brand is the most detailed in the diecast world bro??

For 64 scale unfortunately not much. You may have to travel to Greenlight and the likes. Tarmac Works may start doing some more domestics.
@IdontKnow-jt2oz

Auto World or Greenlight have made mustangs, and m2 machines have done older mustangs. Of those brands Auto World would be the best but note that none of them have full mirrors like Minigt. If you are not in the US than I think minigt is the only one unless you have auto worlds in your country
Im just getting into the hobby and my buddies are having me start with Kaido House. Whats your thought on that company? Thanks man !
