Where I live there’s no straights :( I chose the 500 because I won’t get any fun out of a 600+… even now on my 500 when I’m really trying to go and take twisties… I don’t even reach 4th gear … around town I’ll go in all gears keeping bike super low RPM just so they don’t get rusty lol… but I don’t think ive ever gone 65 mph yet lol.

I’m in the uk and recently got a new zx6r it’s amazing but the break in period is tedious

Which one I’m waiting on the zx6r 2025 to make it to Kawasaki dealership in America I put in deposit but they don’t know when they will arrive

You can’t master a bike in 1 month lol. If going fast in a straight line is all your goal then you will be bored with the ZX6R 2 months from now. Then you’ll get a 1000cc, then a H2, if you survive that long.

It’s a bike, not jiu-jitsu. You don’t have to ‘master’ a bike before you move on. Most riders aren’t a ‘master’ of anything tbh. Unless you’re taking a class every month and practicing every day

@@fdub301When you look at sales where the most popular sport bike the Hayabusa has only sold a little over 200,000 bikes world wide since inception. The Ninja H2 only sold a little over 800 bikes world wide. There’s over 700 million bikes in use in 2024. You realize most people never even touch 1000cc sport bikes and get nervous just looking at them. In reality the vast majority of riders interested in the high powered bikes never make that jump over their own personal fear. Yes the power can be scary and unforgiving but it’s really up to the individual. People pick up things and learn at different levels and speed. Also maturity plays a role. For example in my experience a person just starting to ride in their 40’s. Will actually do better on a 1000cc bike than someone younger on a 500cc. Value plays a part too. You buy a brand new Fireblade or something, chances are you’re not going to go nuts and risk damaging it. You’ll respect the power and the value you paid for it. There’s always various factors to consider. 2 of the fastest sport bikes are Ducati and BMW. You don’t see a whole lot of those bikes sliding across the ground. You’re not going to see a lot of $30,000 Ninja H2’s wrecking.

I was on a 250 for 2 years upgrade to a 600 I still prefer my 250 that this scares me more then the 600 if you know how to ride you'll understand why the 250 is scary

Mastered a bike in 200 miles…..? Barely even know how to use the clutch to shift up and down, yet you’re using a quick shifter lol. Talking about getting a liter bike when you don’t know how to corner is even wilder. Idk this is a disaster tbh. Horrible advice
