Beginner Hairstyle With Beads | Mixed Toddler

Hi Guys! I know I have been promising to post some more intricate hairstyles and here is one! The truth of the matter is I find myself doing the girl's hair in protective styles much more often and when I do style their hair like this I don't always record it but I am reeeaaally trying to do better about bringing you guys awesome content. This style is actually just ponytails and braids and you could really do it with almost any pattern of parting but what I did was connect the braids into the other ponytails and then add beads and it looks like you did something super cool and intricate when really it's just ponytails and braids! I did not notice any breakage in Zora's hair when I removed the rubber bands but I want to remind you guys that rubber bands CAN cause breakage and to always cut them out and let the hair breathe in a more protective style after styling it with rubber bands. The goal is still healthy hair EVEN when we slay the hairstyle!!! Please let me know what you guys think! I have some more advanced styles coming soon as well but I want to go over the basics like how to cornrow before we get into all of that. Thanks again for watching!!

Just did this on my 3yo. She’s had it in for two days so far and it’s held up nice. Of course she has a satin cap on at night which is a huge help. She absolutely loves the beads. We love all of your videos!! Thank you!
My daughter is not mixed but her hair is curly just like this and it be so hard to put the beads because the ends come loose 😩 thank you for this video because I was doing the same thing twists instead of braiding it.

Use a lil oil on the rubber bands or use ponytail holder for kids

You can use foil on the ends to put beads on or a rubber band

Using edge control to make the beads easier to slide on is a great idea. Also, I've never seen that tool for beads. Pls, when you find a better one let us know! Awesome hair style!
