Ever since I decided to play Naraka and get good, I started watching your content religiously, and now I stack 25+ kills every match. You're a real hero to the noobs out here.

Finally, a good basic combo guide. When we started playing with my friends in January, I couldn't find a single good combo video which covered most of the basic stuff. Only bread crumbs. Keep it up.

Highly appreciated. I was having trouble with the 2nd spear combo and in your video you hit W then A during it where in another someone only hits W and it still works. We need a guide where you put the exact inputs in order of use for these combos with the length of time held and what cue in the animation you can mentally tie it to and whether they can be buffered or delayed or first framed. The controls in this game are insane... just to play the normal mental chess match it feels like I need to learn an entire Beethoven book. Even the greatsword combo with the W into A holds during the uppercut is really hard to pull off with any consistency. The only one i can really do 100% is the dagger one

Hey nice videos! I just started playing and am trying to learn some combos while I wait for my friends to get on and I am struggling with grapple focus combos right now. I can consistently confirm the H into c.V, but whenever i grapple my character always does a rolling animation on contact and so I can never land the follow up attacks. Any tips to cancel that animation? I can't find anything about it. I even went so far as to add 'reddit' at the end of my google search.

Holding left or right movement input should make it so you don't roll when you grapple bump. Hope this helps!

Yeah the carousel combo, dual blade/halberd uppercut 1 2 3 and fan wind wall into uppercut just don't work for me, the enemy either gets knocked far away or if I'm too close the melee aim assist fucks up. With fan the bot dodges away, but maybe it works against players. 50 ping 165 fps. The carousel I've maybe activated accidentally 3 times in 3 years, in practice it never worked.

Quick question, I've seen other guides for Katana/Heng grapple combos where you hold Vertical at the end, have the combos changed now due to patches? And is [H] the correct one to do? Please help thanks

@@BrowneVisuals [H] or [V] both work for katana, but [H] is more reliable. For heng sword, [H] after grapple doesn't work, you have to use [V] with heng sword

Excellent video! However, I find the second Katana combo extremely hard to pull off consistently? I have tried to delay holding W, I try to input the first j.H as late as possible, like just before touching the ground. I have watched your inputs at 0.25x speed multiple times. Sometimes the second hit of the j.H connects, most time its doesnt. Even the times where I manage the combo 2/3 times in a row it feels kinda random and not like I changed anything in my inputs? Oh and let alone if I try the combo from anywhere else than right in front of my target, I drop to almost 0% succes rate lol I would greatly appreciate any help, as coming from a decent level fighting games background this is irritating me beyond belief! Thanks for the amazing content💪

Tbh, the timing is just hard. Your ping can also affect your timing slightly but the 2nd katana combo is an essential basic combo for katana. The first j.H is the most important, if you hit both swings of the first j.H you're usually set up to get at least 3 j.H and you can even get more with good camera manipulation (where you look with your camera while attacking can change the behavior of the juggle), like what I did on the heng sword version of that combo where I got more than 3 j.H. if you're having alot of trouble with one combo, try a different one and later come back to the one that gave you trouble. Many of these combos may take multiple practice sessions to get down consistently. Hope this helped!

Is there a very basic combo that works on all (or even most) weapons? Rather than having to learn different combos for every weapon.

The Grapple Focus combo works on many weapons, as shown in the video. It is the most essential basic combo to learn and is all you really need.

Does ping have a strong effect on combos? If he's 60, not 30, like here

I've been trying the combo H,c.V, G, c.V, j.H, j.H, j.H of katana for a long time and there're still problem persisted. First is that on the second uppercut the bot just lie down there instead of flying upward. Second is that the bot also just lie down after the first air attack. Anyone has any tips for me to improve?

are you on pc or controller? best tip i have is do the second uppercut as soon as you possibly can, if it looks like its too late then it probably is - do your uppercut input timing even earlier 👍

Are these possible on console or dos it jest matter if you have good ping or not?

I don't think there is an easy way. I still struggle with some of the basic combos even after 300+ hours, but I can't say that I didn't improve. It's really just a rhythm game when it comes to combos, your inputs have to be precises with very specific time windows. It takes practice, a lot of it.

@@lildreyoo175 It's because console has input delay, which is a huge issue in Naraka's fast paced rock, paper, scissors. Don't fall for PC players who say PC has no big advantages, console is like trying to sprint underwater in comparison.
