In this video I spoke to Billion Rain Farms concerning catfish farming, we talked about feeding, earthen ponds some of the benefits and challenges. We delved into the types of feeds and number of times you should feed your fishes. We also talked about the market availability for catfish in Ghana.
Despite the challenges we face as young start-ups in Africa, we must put in all efforts and take advantage of our fertile lands and favorable weather to make Agriculture attractive.
The youth of Africa must be involved in food production and Agriculture in general.
because obviously there are a lot of opportunities in the sector.

Why is the pond not net against predator (snake,birds etc)

He will eventually do that, it’s a little expensive. For now there are people employed to watch the pond.

So disappointing. First, you need to start with the pond. The size. the depth. how much it costs to dig this size. . how long it takes to dig. how long before you can introduce the fish. can you buy directly from the store or do you need holding tank. so many questions not asked. cheers.

There are other ways to go about it.. concrete pond or plastic pond...beside you don't need to start it this big you can start small and then extend it later.. with the digging it will depend where you digging from

Concerning the earthen pond he said he doesn't change regularly, he said something to the effect of once in six months.
