I've also just recently completed your In Gym Beginner Calisthenics workout and absolutely LOVED IT!!! Been weight training for several years now but have not been able to do unassisted pull ups. After following your program for 6 weeks, my pull up PB is 5! Okay well chin above the bar, still working on full ROM haha. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing quality content, being an inspiration for women in the calisthenics world and walking (or pushing/pulling/balancing) proof that we can do hard things! 🙌👌

You're my new role model! It was so much fun to watch your workouts and learn all these new things. I've always liked calisthenics but there aren't enough women calisthenics influencers who explain the things the way you do. I honestly hope you get the recognition you deserve !! This workout is really good. I've been doing it with my wife for the past few weeks. She's a true beginner and is working on perfecting a lot of the basics. I find myself a bit above your definition of beginner so I do days 1 and 2 in one workout. Would love to see this series progress into your definition of intermediate.

I just wanted to tell you I'm using the workout sheet from the first workout to do today at the gym. This will be my first calisthenics workout and I am a little intimidated and scared but excited to start this journey! I stumbled upon your chanel a few days ago and i binge watched all your videos, and firstly decided to try and get my splits again (I could do them before when i was training Taekwondo but I quit a few years ago and started going to the gym). The gym sadly made me less and less flexible and I am really interested in getting the flexibility back. But right now I am even considering just starting calisthenics for 3 days a week

That unilateral leg exercise is really helpful, thanks. I use Bulgarian split squats but supporting zero weight on the other leg seems better.

I have been working on getting a pull up since 1/18/23…my goal was to get one before 2024, but still not there. Im definitely stronger though. I’m going to incorporate more calisthenics into my routine and see if this gets me there. Thanks so much for your videos!

I love that calisthenic park. We have about 30 outdoor parks in my town. Not one calisthenic park in the mix 😢

I feel like they're more common in the US! There's multiple cali gyms there (none in my town or in vancouver). Miami and LA are famous for their outdoor cali parks.

If you have a ladder that can be held diagonally, diagonal training is also possible. I have never seen this type

Check out my Calisthenics Week of Workouts video. I even wrote out all the reps/sets that I did that week, and you can download the workouts in the blog post for it as well :) If you need more advanced routines, check out my human flag workout, my full body workout, my pull and middle split day, tucked planche day, legs and pull routine...etc. But also, this routine can be done even if you're advanced. You just choose harder variations of the exercises. You would do Frenchie pull-ups without a band or add weight, you would do elevated Australian Rows, weighted dips, handstand push-ups on the harder push-up day, then wall-assisted hspu on the higher rep push exercise..etc. I do all of these exercises in this workout routine, I just pick a harder progression. Much like how in bodybuilding, you just increase the weight load, in Calisthenics you modify the exercise so that it becomes harder. My workouts involve a lot of pull-ups, rows, dips, push-ups, levers and handstand work.

I'm a beginner at calisthenics. Struggle with tendonopathy in elbows. Any issues with that? I find pullups irritate the elbow tendons the most.

hey you are great. I am a beginner and I want to get into calisthenics. i would like to do it in the gym. I am a 14yrs old girl. I have done gymnastics at quite a high level in the past but my skill level has decreased I really want to be able to do handstand push ups and all round handstand skills also while building and maintaining my pull up skill level but mainly focusing on handstands. I can hold a handstand for an average of 2-5 seconds. can you do a video on a 4 day a week workout plan for me to be able to reach my goals? thank you i love your videos.

I just do calisthenics (weighted calisthenics included, like weighted pull-ups and dips) supplemented with some lower body mobility work (no dedicated leg days). Check out my weighted mobility video for exercise details.
Down to be friends, I do calisthenics too and don’t know many others who do it. I’m mumbai sadly. 😢 Love from India nonetheless
What about the push I can pull the push
Make sure you don't hang upside down on any doorway pullup bars. While the bar is rated for your weight, the door trim is not! Life on a ventilator wouldn't be much fun.
