Enveloppé:
- Pronounced: ahn-ve-LOHP
- French Meaning: Enveloped
- Movement: The working leg does the opposite motion of a developpé, creating a smooth and elegant transition.
Pas de Basque:
- Pronounced: pah duh BAHSK
- French Meaning: Step of Basque (a region in France)
- Movement: A traveling step that involves a series of three distinct steps, adding dynamic movement to your dance.
Soubresaut:
- Pronounced: soo-breh-SOH
- French Meaning: Sudden bound or jump
- Movement: Jumping into the air from 5th position and landing back in 5th, often with a slight forward movement and arms in Allongé.
