    Awesome content, highly grateful. The demo with partner right in the end uses for the last rotational move different feet than while demonstrated in the middle of the video, if I'm not wrong: In the demo (middle of the video), one steps forward at 1 with the interior foot and backward at 3 with the exterior one. In the partner demo in the end it's apparently the exact opposite: step forward at 1 with the exterior foot and step backwards at 3 with interior 1. I assume the is no right or wrong, right?

    Correct, there are many many variations to the step, the timing is the most important and consistent factor! 😀👍

    HI Frederick, you can definitely give a lady freespin and then you can both do individual footwork. Sometimes, a lady is a more advanced dancer and she can do these steps while doing partnerwork

    @@BachataDanceAcademy I am not an expert dancer and I think I speak for 90% of the population, and when man gives us a turn he should stay at the same step and not change it, because when we finish taking the turn and man has changed the step we are lost, the rhythm, the coordination does not match! And the dance whatever the genre is synchrony to make it look beautiful.

    The rhythm pattern is the same as cha cha. The musical accents separate both dances. Awesome fusion dancing next time we go out. Thank you.

    But how your partner will understand that leader will start steps with triple steps? :? feels like mismatch to me :?

  • @BachataDanceAcademy

    @BachataDanceAcademy

    Your partner can always keep the basic step while you try a triple step. In other occasions they might be familiar with the triple step as well as the music and are able to understand when you might do it or where it goes in the music :) Practice!

    Aren't you are demonstrating the cha cha cha step - 1,2, cha-cha-cha or the Dominican double step which is 1,2,3&4 or 1,2,3,4&? The true Dominican triple step, as I understand it is 1,2,3, tap-step, step.

  • @BachataDanceAcademy

    The double step is a very different step and is accenting a completely different instrument. Some people say "cha cha cha" because it can be easier for people to learn with little sounds like cha cha cha to remember timing. Also another thing you have to take into consideration is that in different countries they have named steps differently even though they are the same step. So maybe where you are from they call it "cha cha cha. Its important to know the steps but not get too hung up on names because Bachata is not a highly technical dance like ballet or the waltz.
