seeing Natacia tear up was wonderful, you can tell that this was beyond special for her, it looked like everyone was having a great time, : ( wish I was able to make a video.

I've met Davey and Adam on two separate occasions and they are both nice guys. I actually did a painting for them and Adam tried to sign it in really cold weather...but my pen froze. But even still he etched his name into it.

so AWESOME. I won the contest on their last album and got to sing with them. Such a surreal experience. AFI rocks! Can't wait for the new album.

I remember as a teen I had turned 16 (decemberundergound era) and I went to see them in Nottingham Rock City. I had long black hair back then (ofcourse I did...now I'm bald) . Davey signed my jeans and we had a surreal little chat and casually shook hands when we said bye - like I didn't hold out my hand...we just both went to simultaneously shake hands. I distinctly remember the gaze of the horde of people at the back entrance (who I had stood with for a good hour as they got irate) fall on me with envy and I'll never forget that. There was also a girl who pretended to hurt her leg and she went into the back entrance and was swiftly escorted out. He wouldn't let anyone take pictures (nor me) and it was incredible how at ease I felt in his presence...they say never meet your heroes but damn Davey didn't disappoint. (they toured London, Nottingham and somewhere else in the UK for just 3 days).

Damn, they are a great band. I don't care what anyone says. They're fantastic. And the new album is going to be incredible. I'm so excited to hear it. The single they released, "Medicate", I highly recommend buying if you haven't already. It's a fucking awesome song.

Actually she sang just like the rest. Just not in that clip, she explained on the Message Board earlier when people asked. She was just learning the words in that clip to make sure she wouldn't mess up, she was concentrating that's all. Aparantly there was a lot of stuff edited out of the video according to the winners.

Just saw this (yeah I'm a little late) but I have to say this album is fantastic, I absolutely love it. And this song rocks out loud. I have to admit I'm a little depressed that no UK tour dates have been announced... I'd love to see AFI live. They're playing in my hometown (Calgary), but of course I won't be anywhere near there for the next year. Sigh.
