I adore these stories and the narrators have such relaxing voices. Regarding this one, I actually had a similar thing happen when I applied to my first position out of college. I was late and got to the elevator and there was another person running, as well. I made the decision to hold the door for her and it ended up being my interviewer and I got the job! :)

Gloria, you need to find a French Conversation Group so you can have someone to practice with. They exist everywhere. One of my my French friends just moved to AZ. I believe she lives near Phoenix. There are about 5 people in her French language group. It's a matter of going to a group to listen and get the courage to speak.

Your channel is "fantastique!" I am amazed by the quality of the production and the rate at which you release new episodes. Can you please add an Italian channel as well?

I very much appreciate the little extra delay between the French and the English translation in order to have time to repeat the sentence. I also like that the gender is identified in the vocabulary. 😊 The stories are great. Suggestions for others: Car Trouble Renting a car Shopping at a mall Going on-line to buy tickets for Les Enfoires and attending the concert Making a trip to Japan, Vietnam or Uruguay. Could be French speaking countries - ah Quebec! Going to a funeral A high school class reunion - getting classmates together, organizing the event and then meeting classmates for the first time in 50 years Taking a boat ride or cruise, maybe centered around working at a port, such as Marseille Preparing for hosting a cocktail party. Going to Nantes and/or Toulouse to visit Les Machines Restoring an old chateau. Landscaping an old overgrown garden

Great video, my only problem is with the English in the second half. Keep the subtitles, but take out the English voice. For those of us pressed for time, we want to listen to French and check the English translation when we need to. The English voice interrupts that. We are listening to English when we don't want it. The other thing that happens is that the subtitles suddenly disappear in the first section when the sentence finishes, not giving us a chance to think or repeat what was said before it goes.

Same idea with you. It would be better if you repeated it one more time in French instead of English. We don't need to listen to English; it interrupts listening to the French voice. Anyway, thank you for your interesting videos. I've already subscribed to the channel and will try to listen to one per day.

1. Qu'est-il arrivé au jeune en route vers l'entretien ? Le jeune a rencontré plusieurs incidents malheureux en route vers l'entretien. Son réveil n'a pas sonné, il s'est réveillé en retard, a eu des accidents en préparant le petit-déjeuner, a été trempé par la pluie, a raté le bus, a été éclaboussé par une voiture, et a dû attendre un autre taxi après avoir cédé sa place à une femme. 2. Comment le jeune s'est-il senti à la fin de l'entretien ? À la fin de l'entretien, le jeune se sentait mal à l'aise à cause de son apparence. Il était tout sale et n'a même pas pu regarder dans les yeux de la personne qui l'interviewait. 3. Qu'est-ce qui s'est passé à la fin de la journée qui l'a surpris ? À la fin de la journée, le jeune a été surpris lorsque la sonnette a retenti et il a ouvert la porte pour découvrir que la personne qui l'avait interviewé était la même femme à qui il avait cédé sa place dans le taxi. Elle lui a informé qu'il avait réussi l'entretien et qu'ils l'avaient embauché.
