    Why is this terrific show no longer available for American viewers? I know that we have sinned and deserve punishment, but I think we're getting plenty.

    I wish that the Uploader had started this clip about 20 sec before this gluten conversation. It goes thusly: Norwegian veteran cop Lars (Nikolai Cleve Broch) is reviewing Coast Guard video footage at the police station. Norwegian rookie cop Alfhildr (Krista Kosonen) and invites him out for dinner Lars says that reviewing the footage will take hours. Alfhildr says to forget dinner as she is interested in the video as well, "forget it, I'm a huge film bLuff."

    That's how I eat. I'm not ashamed of it. But I'm just a rowdy eater and I don't like people to get near my food. I walk in my sleep and have been known to even cook in my sleep. When she showed up at work in her underwear I felt lucky that I have not done that one yet....

    Gluten is a group of seed storage proteins found in certain cereal grains. Although, strictly speaking, "gluten" pertains only to wheat proteins, in the medical literature it refers to the combination of prolamin and glutelin proteins naturally occurring in all grains that have been demonstrated capable of triggering celiac disease. These include any species of wheat (such as common wheat, durum, spelt, khorasan, emmer and einkorn), barley, rye and some oat cultivars, as well as any cross hybrids of these grains (such as triticale).[1][2] Gluten comprises 75-85% of the total protein in bread wheat.[3][4]

    I mean if he has celiac's disease he can't actually process gluten, so either he has celiac's disease or believes he has a gluten sensitivity/allergy (which doesn't exist at least with current research into that area).

    @@zoeknap9777 Celiac only exists because of gmo crops. A "beforeigner" would most likely die if they ate our genetically modified food. Did you know that normal people drank any and almost all lake water as recent as a 100+ years ago and they were just fine? Without any boiling of the water. Try that today and see what happens. You would be dead in a few days due to dehydration caused by severe vomiting and parasites.

    damn shame it's subbed and not dubbed. Trying to read and still see the actors expressions sucks

  • @SipuliJ

    You get used to it, trust me. Dubbing is so much worse, because it takes away the whole vocal expression of the actors, and it changes the whole dialogue.

    In Norway everything is subbed not dubbed. That’s why we easily understand multible languages.

  • @antred11

    @antred11

    I disagree. I much prefer the original voices over dubs. Even if you don't speak the language, half of the acting job is the way actors enunciate what they say, and all of that is usually lost in a dub. Also, it is good for people to be exposed a bit to other languages.
