I LOVE this video 2!!!! & CONTROL by Fablia abt Tim. Tim wz her TO & his boot & at times his ego did show thru that. BUT... Lucy wz NEVER just a boot 2 him!!!! From literally saving his life on her 1st day, whn they were AMBUSHED! Hving arrived early 2b ready & backup Bishop & Nolan, who'd b comin from the front. BUT as they drove dwn the bk lane, they didn't realize the suspects being hunted were actually in the bk, whn they suddenly started shooting, Tim got shot pretty fast. If he'd bin w/ Jackson, Tim probably wld've bin killed. BUT on her 1st day, Lucy had the where w/ all 2 pull Tim 2 safety not just once but 2x, shoot bk & radio "Officer down" & 4 more help Tim yes, did train Lucy, no doubt & wz a tough TO, which we slowly learn more why he is?!?! Sum of it, wz definitely ego, BUT by in large, he took his job & responsibility, as a TO very seriously!!! The ep. 'The Q Word' in Season 2, we get perhaps the greatest burden & responsibility they feel. As 1 TO from the Hollywood Division is distraught from Chris (whom Jackson knew the best due 2 their Dads coming up 2gsther, whn slowly they recognize his voice, esp J. Their Division had nothin 2 follow-up on BUT suddenly were asked 2 turn their radios 2 a diff channel, just 4 listening as 2 a sitn going dwn in the Hollywood Division. Tim in particular tells Lucy 2 turn it up, he says, he wants 2 hear this. J recognizes Chris' voice immediately. Tim suddenly says 2 Lucy, "He's 2 AMPED UP!" Lopez & J get their 1st as they all begin 2 attach 2 the call. Chris is panicking & makes a drastic & sadly later we learn a fatal mistake. As his TO & Chris r yelling at him 2 get bk behind the shop & pull him then pull him 2 safety after he's shot. Chris' TO is very distraught & says 2 Tim, "He KNOWS!!! He's made mistakes b4 BUT never like this!!!" Tim tells him, "Rookies aren't used 2 the adrenaline & get AMPED UP.. 'Lights & Sirens Syndrome.'" He adds, "This is the hardest part of being a TO. We DRILL it in2 them from day 1 BUT at the end of the day, they make their own calls." Tim also knew early on, that Lucy wz smart. Whn the 3 r hving 2 take a polygraph 4 the $$$ that wz stolen which they'd bin guarding, Tim says 2 the oth TOs "It's not Chen, she wouldn't hve gotten caught like this " Tim didn't hve any attit. in what he said. Bishop responds "It sounds like u're complimenting her." Tim simply says "All I'm saying is she's smarter than them " BUT...what's most indicative, is that while Tim wz training Lucy, he suddenly wz spiralling, early, whn out of the blue he comes across his wife, who didn't even recognize Tim at 1st & whom we find out that Tim a) is married & b) hadn't seen her 4 a yr. as she'd become a junkie herself. Isabelle wz Tim's kryptonite!!! Immediately, all she wanted wz 4 the dealer 2b let go & asks Tim 4 cash & he gives her all he had, & she just bolts!!! Clearly broken, he tells L 2 let the dealer go free She's angry & says, "What the hell just happened?!".As a vulnerable Tim tells her that wz my wife & he hadn't seen him 4 over a yr. If it wzn't 4 Lucy's courage & strength 2 stand up 2 Tim, Tim cld've easily LOST his career, or cld've gone 2 prison, whn he knows she's lying, aftr gettin arrested & makes all these empty promises, but now is asking him 2 commit a felony 4 her!!!! Whn she Oded at 1 pt. He raced 2 the hospital, sadly & angry says, "I get it. U don't want 2 come home. BUT if u keep doing this, u r goin 2 die.". Again she dozn't want his help & runs off & out of helplessness punches the wall. BUT...he's FURIOUS w/ Lucy whn she shows up that nite 2 Isabelle's & sees her while he took the kilo of heroine from her heating vent that I knowingly let her boyfriend stash there. Furious he yells at Lucy, "What r u doing here?!" Lucy replies, "NO!!! What r u doing here?! I've bin riding w/ u for 2 mths. U project the rogue cop, BUT u r always on the rite side of the law!!!" & simply adds, "I came here 2 remind u, that u'll regret helping her. 'Cuz its not gonna change her, but sure as hell, it will change u." Tim still FURIOUS takes the kilo in his gloved hand, walks back 2 his car & slams the door. Not til the nxt day, we learn that Tim did return it. But if L hadn't shown up that nite, I'm NOT sure Tim wld've had the courage & strength 2 put it bk?!?! Their rel'ship from the get go, wz diff than the oth Rookies. Lucy always had Tim's bk. Sum1 made a video & song they used, talked abt the girl being he's guardian angel. I'm curious if Tim will EVER truly thank her 4 what she did 4 him esp that 1st yr!!! Esp whn they argue, & he yells her 4 lying on a report 4 not saying that Tim had told her, if the time came, he wld shoot kill himself than going out like "My man Pete here". She YELLS back at him & how abt ALL of the times, I didn't report on how u protected Isabelle. Tim NEVER did apologize 2 her. The Captain even chose 2 drive w/ her 1 day & at the end of the day, Lucy apologizes b/c the Captain didn't react in time as Lucy ducks & she gets punched in the face by a suspect. The Captain says 2 her "Do u know why I chose 2 ride w/ u 2day Officer Chen?! Its b/c u impress me." But tells her she knows, she still needs further training. Tim might've bin Lucy's TO, but she saved Tim's life in more ways than 1 that 1st season. & in Season 2 does acknowledge her, 4 saving his career aftr Tim had rear-ended a car L didn't recall seeing brake likes, & pretty much yells at the Sergeant, til suddenly she sees his 3 stripes. At the end Tim tells her he wldn't hve received this commendation w/o her hving his bk that day. I LOVED how Tim could NEVER stay angry w/ Lucy, whn she had the guts 2 pull off pranking him!!!! My fav is still whn she stole his $$$ from $$ clip. It wz in the ep called the Hawke. He'd bin teaching her, how evry cop needs 2 think like a criminal & hve a little bit of an outlaw in them. Aftr he gets off the ph at whatever bar or he wz, he cldn't help BUT smile & laugh cuz he wz also impressed!!! & whn Lucy aftr Plains Clothes Day, gives him an envelope while they're out 4 supper w/ the 3 Rookies hanging out 2gether & the 3 TOs separately Tim asks her, "What's this?!" Lucy says, its her evaluation of him. He tells her, "That's not how this works!!!" She KNOWS he won't b able 2 resist & simply says, "Open it or not," & then walks away. That time, it wz Bishop & Lopez who started laughing, whn he tells them its their bar tab. As Lucy has N & J quickly run off. She made him laugh & begin 2 enjoy life again!!! 1 of my fav moments is aftr a case where sum guy got hurt just being stupid at a paint ball range. The last scene, u c Tim & Lucy playing paint ball. L just says, "U're having fun, aren't u?!?!" & smiles. AND yes, if it wzn't 4 Lucy & ALL the work she did, making bks on audio tape 4 him Tim study 4 Sergeant's exam, he probably wldn't hve scored so high coming in 8th out of 140. They ALWAYS had eachother's back from the get go!!!! & It wz Lucy who wz their 4 Tim whn he's just broken aftr seeing his Dad 4 the 2nd time. She wz waiting in the hall & asks Tim immediately if he's ok? He says "No." Eric Winter's facial expressions reveal so much. When suddenly he says, "The Tim tests...they don't make me like him.". L says "I know.... U're nothing like him." But Tim still looked SHATTERED, when suddenly softly she says, "Come here." & while hugging him, & he clings 2 her, she repeats those words so tenderly, "U're nothing like him."

I love them so much 😭😭 always gets me how tim reacts to lucy saying he's the most important relationship in her life. I don't think he'd realized before how important he is to lucy

I hear u. I felt awful 4 him, when after he tells Lucy that Ashley & him broke up & then says, technically she broke up with me. Chris of course suddenly appears. Tim u can tell is talking like he's fine & is ready 2 go home, tired, as Lucy invited him 2 join them for supper. Seeing him at his truck, was brutal as he looked at them arm & arm walking away. I remember wishing SO BADLY that she would've turned 2 look back at him then, but didn't til he wz getting into his truck. BUT... I also hated seeing Tim do the fake engagement to Ashley. U could tell how hurt she looked. She didn't tell Chris what happened when suddenly she received a text, "Got ya!!!!". BUT...in retrospect, I think Tim NEEDED to really think about what he REALLY felt for Lucy. In Vegas, I understood why she wzn't being completely honest. Tim wz just discovering his feelings & it would've been confusing, plus they were in the middle of a very dangerous UC job!!!!! I DID think that Lucy NEEDED HIM 2b tender BUT strong & show no ambiguity!!!! She STILL didn't think it was worth the risk. AND ironicaly, Chris & Thorsen DID give them a favor!!!! Tim clearly didn't want 2 ride with her & told Grey he wz fine 2 ride alone. Sgt Grey said, "Is there sum reason, u 2 can't ride 2gether?!?!". As they both awkwardly said, " NO". BUT...with Chris pressuring Lucy 2 buy a house, Lucy clearly showed how unhappy she wz & admitted that she didn't love Chris & felt guilty that she didn't love him back. She said EVERYTHING in a nutshell, when she said, "HE'S JUST NOT..." And looked directly at Tim. He wasn't really looking at her at that moment, & there's speculation from Chenford fans, "Did Tim get it or not?!?! BUT...another video depicts how Lucy always was in rel'ships with guys that were safe. I had missed the ep. where Jackson in Season 2, tells Lucy that he knew all along abt her & Nolan's rel'ship. And told her it wz a safe a rel'ship as he said, "U fell 4 newly divorced guy, coming out of a 20yr marriage. It was safe, cuz it was never meant to last ". I had realized I'd never watched that ep but did after watching this scene Tim told her the same with Emmett, that he probably broke up with her by text & didn't treat their rel'ship as serious, b/c she never took their rel'ship seriously!!!! I think they both subconsciously started 2 develop feelings 4 each other. For Tim when he turned down his promotion that Sgt Grey had 4 him to be a Sgt at the Hollywood Division. Lucy then asks, "R u holding out for Malibu?!". He told Grey then that he wasn't quite ready to move up quite yet cuz he hadn't finished training Lucy!!!! I think the last ep. of Season 3 thru out season 4, u c moments where they're definitely interested each other but don't go there. Lucy u can tell feel hurt when Tim has an outburst & says to Ginny that he wasn't single in her ride-a-long. Immediately Lucy said, "Wait?! What?! are u seeing someone?!?!". U can c that Tim regrets how that came out & Lucy looks down & Tim looks at her briefly. And when Chris & Lucy are chummy one day, suddenly Tim sounds jealous. And says, "Last wk, u couldn't stand him but now you're all sweet on him?!?!"

ABSOULTELY BEAUTIFUL! THE STORY THATS BEING TOLD IS JUST 🥺🥹🤍

I know!!!!! It's such a bittersweet moment. It's gut wrenching 2c Tim look so vulnerable & shattered!!!!! AND yet beautiful to c how tenderly she spoke to him, especially repeating herself when she hugs him & he is clinging to her & she's almost whispering when she says again, "You're nothing like him". I think Lucy felt really bad, when the wk b4 when Ginny described what traumatic event, that Lucy says somewhat quietly & jokingly, "A Tim Test ". Tim just looked at her. .And Ginny asked "What?!" Suddenly Lucy just said, "Nothing " I think it's ALSO Tim's deepest scars & insecurity that'll be like his Dad.

He was truly a broken man after that talk with his dad, but she built him back up after isabel so he knew he needed her to tell him they dont and hes nothing like his dad.... each relationship they had brought them to where they are now....rachel was his first relationship after the marriage, so kinda like lucy for nolan, ashley was a reverse of jessica..(Jessica nolans ex who wanted kids) tim realized maybe with ashley that maybe he did want to be married again (even tho she didn't) but with lucy....he openly talks about their kids....smiles when she mentioned the first date story for the grandkids...i just hope we at least get to see chenford kids in the future maybe a chenford wedding too...none of this fake out (kinda ) with angelas wedding loved the dynamic of tim being angelas man of honor would have loved to see the wedding...(figured they eloped after Guatemala tho before jack was born)
