I totally agree with you. I love Y EDP. It’s definitely a 9/10 in many ways. It’s very clean and fresh. I can wear this casually or dressed up for work and pull it off no problem. I actually prefer if people talk less about this one so I don’t smell it on other guys!

Thank you very much for the vid, Clemence. I am bit confuse with the line. Specially the Parfums ones. I have smelled Le Parfum and it is super nice. It smells to me sweet and youthful, a bit bubblegum. I think I have smelled the Eau the Parfum and had a similar impression. Liked it a lot. Hope your phone still alive 🤔

Ha I was confused too to be honest !

_YSL_ US had a fantastic BF reduction, so I bought them all. Bonus 3x points, Rakuten 15%, freebies, I kinda backed up the truck. Macy's online had the same thing. Blue Electrique for 48. Got two. Kinda went nuts this holiday season, but perfumes are one of my loves. _best holiday wishes to you Clemence_ .

For me Y edt can be used interchangeably with Versace Pour Homme. Not exactly the same, but used in a similar way

Thank you very much for the review Clémence. I do have the edp and I believe it's one of my most longevity out of my collection. I was eyeing the Eau Fraiche version. Even if the longevity is not that great, I still believe it would be a nice addition for going out with friends in the summer.

Can Y EDP work in a formal situation? I know the fragrances has some sweetness and good projection. How would you compare Y EDP to Blue de Chanel EDP?

EDP is really the Champion in all senses, certainly more well balanced and with the niciest sillage!!!

How do you compare this collection to Givenchy Gentleman series? And the Dior Sauvage series?

Definetely less generic than Sauvage to me, get that fruity slightly sweet note that is great, Givenchy Gentleman need to dive in the collection again!

I just bought and tried the M7 Absolu which supposed to have the basic M7 DNA for the most part (although most like the original M7 better), and I don't really like it. That "cherry cola" accord comes across to me as just a touch camphorous-like and is annoying. Now Opium Pour Homme, I like. And I just, finally, acquired the canister bottle of the discontinued YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme, which is fantastic, considered by many as THE quintessential barbershop fougere, and highly sought after.

Je ne sais pas pour toi, mais moi, tous ces flankers me donnaient mal à la tête quand il fallait les comparer pour le client qui n’en connaissait aucun 😭. La Nuit de l’homme, c’était pareil. Du coup plutôt que d’aller réviser les pyramides olfactives rébarbative, une vidéo c’est nettement plus fun et rapide 🥳. Je file avant de déblatérer des âneries plus grosses que ma tête migraineuse qui semble vouloir exploser à tout instant. Je te fais pleeeeins de gros bisous parfumés 😘

@@mixedpleasure4324 I have about 250, but they lean to old school/fougeres. They wouldn't actually compare. Top of that list would be Penhaligons English Fern, which is discontinued, or Beau de Jour. Neroli Oranger from Matiere Premier is barbershop to me, but slightly feminine. Same with 103 from Bon Parfumeur, very floral. I have 10 PDMs that are all excellent, the rest of the PDM smell awful though. Penhaligons Halfeti Cedar is good, as well as their Lord George. Myrrh and Tonka from Jo Malone, and Acqua di Parma Colonia. And there's always Ungaro III, English Leather, Lagerfeld, Gucci Noble, and Sergio Taccini for classics.
