So true I’ve blind bought 2 iris based scents and it’s smells like a dust old wardrobe I’m so sad 😩 but the leathery fragrances are just amazing

I just did a blind buy of Uomo Intense for my hunny and I'm glad I did! I prefer it over the Born in Roma for him. Thanks for this review!

Just sampled this stuff today. Wore it on my arm and walked around the mall and had people smell my right arm which had Valentino and my left arm had YSL Y. And Valentino had an overwhelming response!

I just copped a bottle of the Valentino over the weekend a Macy’s this stuff smells so good i am loving it.

Valentino uomo aqua for warm weather, Valentino uomo intense for cold weather. If u have a huge collection, both are worth having, solid 7s

Always loved Valentino & Valentino intense during autumn and winter. This always works with dates.

Valentino Uomo Noir Absolu is in my collection since last winter. IMO it smells like a masterpiece and is my #1 date scent for colder days :) Uomo Intense is still on my wishlist

I have 3 from this house, VUA, VU, and VUI. I love all three and I use the for different times of the day. Intense, I definitely use as my date night with my lady. Uomo, I use as a all day fall scent. Aqua, is my spring time go to, but since my collection has gotten deeper with more niche fragrances, I usually lean more with Creed Silver Mountain Water more.

I’ve got them all. Except Uomo Intense. Wanna tell some about this three. Uomo Aqua - best summer fragrance. It makes you feel some cold green fresh vibes, not like aquatic stuff, like some icy fresh. Good with the heat. Uomo Noir Absolu - spices ✨just best fragrance ever created and that’s it. Got 2 bottles & gonna pick one more. It’s a masterpiece. Uomo blablabla Oud Essence - same line with Tom Ford Tobacco Oud - very close! Also close with TF Oud Wood. High quality fragrance. Soft leather, not punchy Oud & some pines. Smells like pay-off day 💸

siddhesh pedamkar 8/10. Performance are good. And it’s not very loud, not close to the skin either - perfect balance.

I purchased VUI a couple of weeks ago and have given it a few wearings before the cold weather leaves us in my region. It's probably the most unique fragrance that I have. Some compare it to Dior Homme Intense and Prada L'Homme Intense, but nah. This is different. VUI is a powdery and definitely a cold-weather formal fragrance. I would even consider it unisex. It does last forever on my skin, but not a loud scent whatsoever.

Hi Holosterik, heard VUI has been bought by L'Oréal from Puig, and they reformulated it. Is yours made by Puig or L'Oréal?

@@theotherguyspodcast4121 Thanks for the information. I was unaware that the line had been sold to L'Oréal. My bottle is from Antonio Puig. I believe it is from 2018 batch. I think that the chocolate accord on my skin is from the combination of tonka bean and vanilla.

L’Oréal own Valentino now. Roma is part of the new changes coming via that buyout. Roma is nice but lacks performance big time. Love the original & Intense. But my favorite is Acqua. I just wish it lasted longer. Appreciate the vid BBB

I absolutely love Valentino Uomo Intense. One of the staple from my winter rotations. I also equally love the Noir Absolu, it got this niche quality for a designer.

I really needed a review like this from this house! I own VU and VUI. In the past years, I like the original better than the Intense. Plus the original gets me more compliments. With all the good feedback on Noir, I think I will go ahead and give it a try.

Yes, exactly! I also love the original more than the intense, and I got compliments while going about my business of the day after spraying a tester at a store.

Really want to try my first one. Can’t tell which one would be best. So far I’m leaning towards the classic, dark and seductive Iris, Chocolate, hazelnut vibe from Valentino Uomo. Thoughts?

Okay, I was at the perfume mall and I have been using my Tom Ford Oud Wood for three months 😅 and decided to try Valentino uomo, the original and intense. I loved the original more, but man, right now, my Tom ford still smells on me, but a strong skin scent, not one with a loud projection. The Valentino is very loud, and it projects, and is sweet and fresh at the same time, and I like it, but man, you just cannot replace Tom Ford. So, I was thinking maybe I'd just save up to get another Oud Wood bottle or maybe try Uomo intense. I dunno

I own the women's Valentino Donna Born In Roma EDP and also Donna Acqua EDP. Love the bottles as much as I do the fragrances. I've been wanting to order one of the male counterparts for my husband (all my purchases have to be blind buys, I live in bum fuck Egypt). The three I've been torn between is the three you mentioned. How lucky am I?! I'm going to pass on Intense version and buy the other two. He NEEDS those bottles on his cologne tray. Sexy.

If the original Uomo had better performance, I might pick it as the best. However, I'll have to go with VUI as the best of this genre. Born in Roma is just weak.

Jackyq Johnson yeah it smells totally different! Uomo intense smells soft and sexy vs oud essence smelling more earthy and woody ! A burnt masculine quality ! I got musk / musc essence also and I love it too ! Soft and sensual ! I got givenchy gent. EDP which i enjoy very much too but it’s very similar to Uomo intense ! If you have one you don’t need the other IMO
