That was definitely a awesome run and the LMT takes a lot to get used to, as it handles way different then any other Rc because of its short wheelbase and big tires , but it’s definitely a blast and it is one of the best looking Rc’s out there. It was awesome of you to give those kids a go on your new Monster Truck and I bet something they’ll definitely remember. Plus I wanted to mention how you could recover the bad cell on those batteries you have and it’s very easy and safe to do as I’ve done it many times unfortunately but with 💯% success rate, and all you have to do is charge it like a nimh battery, actually you put in on your charger without the balance leads plugged in and put your charger on the lowest nimh charge rate and start charging it for 1-2mins and you’ll see that dead cell start to take a charge and leave it for 20sec once it does start charging that dead cell and then change it back to its normal lipo charge with only a 1c charge rate and that battery will balance out like it used too , it might end up a point out on that particular cell but over the next few charges it will fully balance itself out like normal again. I know it’s a little scary especially if you haven’t had to do it before but it’s saved many batteries for me and I’m sure millions of others that would’ve ended up throwing away perfectly good batteries without giving this a shot first. I’m sure there’s a vid or two on KZread about how to recover a dead cell on a lipo if you wanted to see how to do it before trying it yourself,and it’s definitely better then just throwing money in the garbage. Best monster jam relocation RTR yet by far. Traxxas nice kids starter. Axial to slow and not tough enough. This one a few minor things but Losi killed it in comparison. This is the one I've been waiting for. Awesome chasis. Solid and reacts more like the real thing with the power to save and push through roll overs. Nice

I was also surprised the axle didn't break. I have the inserts on mine and so far so good. They did update the axles and the dull decals on the v2

I absolutely love this truck, having grown up watching Gravedigger on Sky, many years ago. I still have my original lexan Gravedigger body, with the graphics stickers on it, that I used on my Tamiya King Cab!! This performs much better though!! And if that's the Ting Kay Bridge, my mate was one of the structural engineers on that project, back in the 1990's!! Beautiful bit of engineering!! Love what you're doing on the channel. Keep up the great content. 👍🏻

Ive already had to replace the axles a couple of times but i still love it even the servo lol replaced the stock servo for a spektrum A6300 witch is intended for airplanes i believe

The Losi is such a best. We have been enjoying ours a lot. The style of how a monster truck bashes is so fun. I built some sweet ramps on my channel for it. Is nice having monster truck style ramps.

Its most def a beast there whanau..100+likes and many more....

Where did you get your ramp from in this video ??

Ok y’all, help me out. Got my Gravedigger today. Drove it around the yard to get used to its handling. Flipped over couple times. Wheelies. Etc. No jumps etc. Rear passenger shock pulled from the rod end and lost the perch, isolated and spring. Nothing local so I’ll be waiting on new ones I guess. Are y’all running limit straps? Stock shocks?

It's a beautiful rig. Very scale looking. Only thing I wish it had, was rear steering. That would make it much more realistic. I collected the old Traxxas Monster Jam licensed trucks. Very cool that this truck is so scale!

Paul Clancy that’s true. But if you were to just get a front axle and put in the rear, I would imagine it would be pretty durable.

Not surprised about the Spectrum batteries at all. Spectrum in the 90s was some of the best you could get, it's not any more. The quality of their products is no better than any cheap Chinese product, but you pay a premium for the name. The best batteries I have found are from Zeee in Australia. Great vid guys keep it up.

For their price you wouldn't think you would have any issues at all with them! We are loving our Turnigy ones, they have been great so far! 🍻

Yes I think you are right that this is the best looking RC out there. Shame that you smashed its face in! I could tell you were having fun by all the laughing. I'm so tempted by this but got put off a bit by people breaking the axles. Don't know if it's a good idea to jump it on the big ramp without looking into the strengthening upgrades that people are using. It's a long train ride home with a broken truck. Anyway, top stuff guys!

Hey there! No luck at all sadly... apparently horizon couldn’t help because we were in Hong Kong and our local hobby store didn’t want to help at all.... Now we use turnigy and gen ace primarily. Cheers! 🍻

Id get another body and do the shoogoo and drywall tape and i think the t real axle housings

My Gravedigger LMT battery strap already snapped! I really don't like that style or hook location much anyway. Are there any other battery mounting options? I guess I could add velcro straps. Wish they had a snap connection like Traxxas does. Great video!

Yes I had set from a arrma ,the lmt trey already has slits , the lmt comes with Xtra strap also

I'll stick to my zip power lipos. I might go from xt90 to IC5.

Its the little wire on spectrum ic5 plugs the orange ones not the blue if batteries have orange than there spectrum, I switching slowly but surely because all rtr cars come with ic5s

I'm a big rc but same as my two boys there 21 and 14 my 14ry old is autistic he helped me up grade a mavric strader ilethim choose the electrics big mistake he chose castle creations all the way cost me a ton of money but at least we made it do a Little over 70 mph he had a race with a citron saxo the bloke gave up n gave my boy a £10 for beating him lol my boy was well happy n wants to make my arrma kraton 4s blx faster n is all ready choosing the electrics for it so my wallet better watch out lol keep up the good work you guys are the best n your vids are the dogs doodars all the best from here in old wet n cold England

Regardless this truck blew me away coming from my piece of junk axial smt10 that even when I modded it, was still very disappointing…. The lmt is battle ready and an excellent platform to build on… There are tons of axle braces out now and v2 axle housings from Losi…. I surprisingly haven’t broken the stock axle housings using the freestyle rc carbon axle braces…. Maybe I should try harder haha…. The treal or vitavon housings are nice but very pricey lol

I epoxy the inside ,and the out bc I cracked , but I believe its really strong from filling inside , if done correctly they will nearly un breakable , im trying not buy treal lol , there's other co coming out w housings too

Spektrum (JR) has always used 23t/spline output servo gear. That way, u "gotta" but "their" replacement parts.

Put it up against the Arrma Granite 3S!

I haven’t taken mine out of the box yet. I got grave digger

Send the batteries back to spektrum . They’ll replace them for you. All you have to pay is shipping , it better than buying a new battery. Give their customer support a call. I just replaced one myself.

Is buddy taking a leak at 8:30 if so think about the children!! And I had 3 smart batteries shit the bed! Don't waste ur money for the battery level on ur remote not worth it at all! I use the China hobbie batteries and they are absolutely solid never a problem but I also only charge my batteries on the balance charge option on my charger and never more than 3amps..... its a little slower but ya got to take care of these batteries being so expensive!!!

Yeah I'd rather pay $300 for an smt and put whatever brushless system I want and need tubes and I'll still have spent hundreds less.....for the same thing save the smt is way more versatile, the aftermarket is not only cheaper but much more plentiful. Not sure why everyone is pushing this right now
