I actually met David Muir on the street just outside of his ABC studios, most down to earth guy I met. I yelled "DAVID MUIR" and he turned around and threw up his hands and made a surprised "aahhhh" face. Awesome guy.

I love him too, I never missed world news with Peter Jennings, Charles Gibson, and Diane Sawyer abd David was anchoring weekend, and I remember thinking that he will be taking over after Diane Sawyer. And I love watching all them but I get excited watching David.

I love David Muir! He has always been sooo down to earth and so personable! He really cares about the stories he covers. --Now Rachael Ray on the other hand has about driven me nuts over the past few years. She never stops talking! She interrupts her guests constantly! I have stopped watching her TV show because of that!

I've only started watching during the corona-crisis and assumed he was on the verge of a nervous breakdown due to current events. Didn't realise he's always like that.

Why does David Muir always sit at the anchor desk with his head at a slight angle? He never looks straight-on into the camera, but always out of the corner of his eyes. I find it very distracting, but then the ABC World News is nothing but tabloid journalism feeding on disasters of every description, so why shouldn't they have a weird anchor?

mawsjumbler omg. I never watch abc but today my brother was watching something and then I turned it on while the news were on and it just stayed in that channel. And this sideways angle thing just looks weird. Makes his mouth look a little sideways. Like those dude in the dating apps trying to look sexy. So I typed “David Muir mouth sideways”. And this video came up. I was starting to think I was the only one that noticed how weird it looks.

You must be kidding. You end a segment talking about coming back with a story about a missing EMS worker. And then you spend all of 14 seconds on her story. That’s what’s pathetic about young guys like you you follow in the footsteps of the old crowd. You’ll never set yourself apart from anyone, you just won in 1 million Muir.
