The time spent by Scott insane. Not just making the movie, like modeling and animating etc, but rendering something like that in the early 2000s took probably forever.

literally just finished the main video, go to the channel and see this... what is this sorcery
Scott's story really is admirable
That plush is straight up freaky. Now a plush of the orange hourglass, I would buy.
The visuals of the Piper fight and the conveluted explanation of how to beat him comes across like a parody. If I didn't know it was real I'd think it was satire.
the indominable human spirit acting up after knowing there's a boss that haven't been defeated for years
You got me to play The Desolate Hope, and for that I thank you.
Scott's funky robots are stupidly cool af.
God i love scott to pieces. Desolate hope has such a fantastic artstyle to it
I love Scott's style in the desolate hope and iffer moon, I think it's best described as CGI which replicates early practical effects to the best of its ability. It most reminds me of the puppets in mystery science theatre 3000.
Ill say this again. Scotts artstyle is so cool looking. It has that charm. And when he makes robots is when it REALLY shines through
Sup solar sands! Thanks for providing something good for my snack! Keep going love your content :))

It's not a coincidence, KZread recommends videos from creators or series when they are about to Publish a new episode (most channels have planned releases, or upload a video a few days before making it public in order to sort copyright issues that might pop up)
Didn't expected a strat breakdown and epic bird mecha. SOLAR PLUSHIE, excellent work on Dave's part!
If I could ask Scott anything, I'd love to know what among his less-successful projects is his favorite. I think I'm probably not the only creator where, I've made a lot of stuff, and there's some stories I've written that didn't catch on, but I dearly love the characters in them. So I'm always curious, 'What would you most want more people to see because you're proud of it?' Solar, feel free to answer this yourself.

Oh I think “Everything is Television” is one of my better videos. Not as popular as others, it has ok numbers.
Glad Scotts other games are actually getting their own recognition and publicity separate to fnaf because I really think some of the older work specifically desolate hope can really stand on its own and I hope Scott having watched your video will encourage him to make some more original work or sequels to older worm
It’s one of the newer rules of the internet that if you are saying something about someone they will probably see it at some point
Low-key those animations look like wild acid trip and I mean that as a compliment
at last, I find a solar sands video early. yay!
The earliest I’ve EVER gotten a solar sands notif

Cool vid bro, I hope dave continues to make those awesome plush’s of you bro😺
I literally just finished watching the main video, Crazy.
I love love love your work. Seriously.
Excellent follow up, when you made the first video it actually made me look into the desolate hope, and let’s just say after two fan cartoons I made, and an obsession later, I like that game 😎

There was a lady who would record all the main TV channels to VHS tapes. I think she lived in Chicago though or somewhere else that didn't get local Texas PBS

Solar Sands and Summoning Salt posting within an hour of each other? Is it Christmas morning!?
Lol, I literally just finished the previous video. On to the next one!
I always like seeing Scott's old work. It's cool and inspiring.
Bird Vilage could have maybe been really popular if it was short animations uploaded to KZread or Newgrounds, since it's about as stupid as Eddsworld
I didn't know Solar Sands plushes were a thing to be made, now I feel like I have to make one.

Co grata to the epic gamers that beat that boss and to Scott to finally get to success. Hope everything is cool and the next movie is a better one!
Good call on changing the thumbnail.
I think being inspired is more interesting than being a genius
Okay but the solar sand plush is super cool tho
Jesus Christ I've forgotten about Scott History before fnaf and boy It messes with my head still very glad that People were able to find A supposed early movie and a sequel to one of his movies and 2 other people we're able to beat the frog boss very glad for that and damn Scott replying to your video and being humble about it that's some 5 stars praise right there
wtf I recognize the background music. Is that Haircuts for men? I'm glad we have similar music taste
subtle summoning salt reference. I see you
I really hope someone can find the book Scott wrote, 'The Tearing'. I looked it up and just found where some people were talking about trying to find an archive or download of it, but no one had actually found such a thing yet. Being a hobby writer (and in a bit of rut) myself, I'm really curious as what the story was like, and even what his writing style at the time might look like.

When I heard there was lost media found. I immediately thought of the previous video.

Now we need Scott to comment on the follow up video...
When i saw dawko interview which was first time we learn about scott I was upset dawko never asked about his past Like his very old works and if he still had the original files of any of them Cause be nice Especially since there apparently a birdvillage movie 2 which from my research i can't find evidence but be nice if we can sit down and properly ask Scott about his past in full Like what inspired all these movies and games and what made him keep going when he never got noticed until fnaf I have a friend who has depression that wants to make games and i always remind him that Scott kept trying so should he which always cheers him up knowing he can relate to a game dev
Bird the movie looks so appealing to me for some reason
Thank you for making scott very human. Most artist are framed as a "flawless"

I wish I could model that cool robots
0:53 an artist’s past history being laid out like that was something that always daunted me. No im not Lenard da Vinci nor will I ever make anything culturally impacting but the idea that you could become a famous artist and eventually have your entire life story summed up into a video breaking you and your life down always made me feel a little uneasy. On one hand, I enjoy learning about other artists but on the other hand the idea of my life ever being described in a point by point way is bizarre.
