Wow! I have a project on my hands turning a cabinet meant for office furniture into a living room bookcase, but the full side panels of the cabinet are MDF covered with a textured plastic coating. I want to get rid of the texture and get a good surface for paint, but don't want to sand plastic, and then I thought of adding a plaster texture instead. Googling brought me here, and your video gave me the inspiration I need! Thank you!

Really like what you did with this as it truly reminds me of the adobe house my uncle built in New Mexico. I just loved it with the thick walls it stayed so cool and he had wood trim...just brought back good memories plus it really was a great candidate for this look.🥰

This is my first time watching your channel and I’m now a subscriber. I love that you did something new and different. I love the combination of smooth and texture, two different colors, painted and natural wood. It’s a beautiful and unique piece of furniture and it’s impressive that you were able to create that beauty from the filthy mess that it was when you started.🌸

I've been updating, refinishing and painting furniture for a couple of years now, 'm in Boston Massachusetts and the market here is the worst I get 1500 to 2000 views in a week on my pieces but no one wants to pay the price I did research on the area prices and made mine comparable, but it usually takes months to sell

@@ermejia13 Hi, no sure how often you re post your pieces, normally I do it every 3 weeks. By re posting I mean I post new pictures and adjust pricing. Sometimes just changing handles does the trick.

Not at all, this plaster is made to stick and stay. I drilled holes through it for the hardware and it was hard, so I’m not worried at all.

@@aliferefurbished Thanks!! Perhaps I try once I get more skill
Dixie Belle is ripping off these DIYers with those prices. Plaster of paris is cheaper and if you know the tricks and mixes same as DB.
