Bees - Living for the Queen - Go Wild
Үй жануарлары мен аңдар
The film documents the life of a bee colony for the duration of a year. Part of the colony emigrates and becomes a 'wild' colony giving an intimate view of the artistically designed beehive and the bee's cleverly organized social life: dividing labour, collecting nectar and warding off enemies.

The camera work in these videos is incredible. And some of the the locations where they place the cameras are amazing. I mean, what size camera is needed to place in a bird nest, or mouse hole? These documentary makers are an inspiration, as to what it is possible to achieve. And the hours spent in rain, excessive heat, and other extremes of nature, just to get a particular shot of an animal or insect, is almost unbelievable. But when you think of the results they produce, just so we can sit for an hour or so to watch the fruits of their labour, we must admire and commend their dedication to their craft. Every one of these nature documentaries is an example of excellence, and I intend to watch them all. Thank you.

The level of mastery displayed in this video is overwhelming. I learnt so much from bees today. Thanks to all those behind this master piece.
This film is exceptionally amazing. I can’t believe myself watching it from start to finish. Great work!
What a beautiful documentary!!!🐝🌸🐝
Great Video, Dear "The Secrets of Nature!" Thousands of Thanks for documenting these "Anna Dhaadhaas" of Earth! Without these tireless and fearless and heedless Public Servants" the world will starve to death. Congratulations! Myself and my husband and my family are "Honey Bee Disciples!" Since our fourth age, till this sixty five, we are with these Divine Angels every day! We keep all races of Honey Bees that are the Natural Ethnic Folks in our surroundigs. We consume home made honey each and every day up to a couple of kilos a day. We also follow Natural Medication thru Honey, Pollen and Bee Venom. Congratulations again!!
As a new beekeeper this year, i watch as many videos as i can to learn as much as possible about these amazing creatures. This was delightful!

Beevideos are awesome makes me want to learn a lot more about bees.
The real impressive thing about insects is their control of genetics, the way they can manipulate their bodies to create new forms, selectively breed the exact bees & ants they choose to produce.... Its their ability to manipulate genetics thats really impressive.
Hats off to the cameramen & the narrator for the phenomenal photography & full encyclopedia about bees❤️

Fantastic video. I did not care for the background music at times but would rather have just heard the sounds of nature. The amazing interconnectedness of the insect world as well as the Intricacies of the insect bodies and instincts gives even more Discredit to the theory of evolution.

Who ever researched this content did a very cursory job. There is so much more known as to why, how, who... that could have provided so much more information and learning opportunities this subject. Very disappointed that I, someone casually interested in the topic, knew so much more than was presented here.

Not to mention the thousands of hours each bee flies. The average bee lives about 40 days and spends the first couple of weeks inside the hive as nurse bee, not flying, but even assuming flying from day one and 24 hours a day optimal flying conditions (including sun shine, possible above the arctic circle), I make it only 960 hours.
The videography is simply amazing
Thank you so much for bringing so much detail about the life of bees. Such wonderful and enlightening information about the selfless life of bees. We are lucky we can depend on them for all our food, grain, fruit and vegetable produces around the world. We should learn from them and be grateful for their hard and selfless labor.

I like bees so i watch this vid btw i will hand out pollen to bee hives
Great attention to detail in the video. Thank you ❤️🙌
I believe even though they are very small indeed . They are strong and simply Amazing! and the way they are prepared too protect their family is too me a clear sign of the intelligence that they have in my understanding Anyway. It is essential too understand the importance of what can be learned from these little animals. And what can learn is too work as one unit! in reality I feel some people could learn a great deal from in being observant of their behaviour in my opinion .
I really enjoyed that , thank you

Imagine a couple of million years of evolution brings about a complex and exact infra structure system as the honeybees. And it has worked for million of years. Oh...and this docu was the best i´ve ever seen on the subject

Haha. Welcome to the wonderful world of beehouses. Beehouses are a traditional form of architecture of my Slovenia. It is us who have exported the idea via our great and world's first teacher of beekeeping, Anton Janša (considered father of modern apiculture), appointed so by Her Imperial Majesty Maria Theresa. It is now a common sight elsewhere in former parts of Danubian monarchy, whose beekeepers were taught by Anton Janša. Austrians (and I do believe this documentary was filmed in Austria) build them with symetrical roofs, while we still adhere to assymetry of the roof which provides more benefits to bees and beekeepers alike. When other beekeepers were still keeping their bees in clay pots and skeps, us Slovenes, particularly us Carniolans, already housed our bees in wooden boxes with entrances painted with folk and Biblical motifs, which more or less guaranteed the colony's survival through winter and protection against elements of nature. Every farmer worth his salt had a beehouse and was a beekeeper, the tradition runs just that deep in our blood. Anton Janša was in fact a son of such a farmer. (By the by, Anton Janša contributed not only with his teaching of the established, but also by his prodigious research, challenging the dogmas of the day. He proved that the egg-laying individual is a female, that drones do not carry water and are males, he re-taught the beekeepers of elsewhere a long-running tradition of Carniolan beekeepers to carry their bees to other pastures on wagons etc. etc. - Ultimately the World Bee Day occurs on the day of his birth in honour of him, his work and of course his love and passion, the bees! ) But I digress. These beehouses consist of various apiaries stacked on top of each other. For Alpine country, like Slovenia, that was extremely beneficial, as space was limited. That way many upon many hives can be stacked one upon another and jointly protected from scorch, rain, ice and snow by the roof. An entrance into the beehouse can be arranged from behind, where the beekeeper has space, time and peace of mind, as well as access to all tools at arm's length away to tend to bees and apiaries alike. I like to think that our beehouses, together with our hayracks (kozolci and toplarji) are quite amazing pieces of agricultural architecture, suited perfectly for space-sparse Alps, both centuries old and cornerstone of every self-respecting farmer. (Type "čebelnjak" or "Slovenian beehouse" or something along such lines to see more images of them, and perhaps look up "panjske končnice" to see how we traditionally decorate the 'gates' of our stacked apiaries.)
Have ya heard the latest Buzz? The Bees Are Back In Town!!!😀😁😎

En realidad no viven para la reina. Viven para la colonia. Si las obreras sienten que la reina está vieja hacen una nueva para que la reemplace. Viven para la colonia.

They can sting again and again only to those or fry them with heat
Data become sweeter.
Muito bom trabalho gostei
Not trying to be that guy but the title is off putting. A bee colony is more of a republic the bees work for what’s best for the colony if the queen is unfit to lay eggs they will remove her and make a new queen
@jawharp9467
Жыл бұрын
A republic is a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch. Bees have no elected representatives. A queen is a monarch.
@jimmyphadphom9247
Жыл бұрын
@@jawharp9467 yes I believe a beehive is a republic because the workers decided everything they decide if there is not enough room in the hive and wanna swarm they decide on the place they wanna live they decide if the queen is not qualified enough to lay eggs and kill her
Very interesting,but the sound tracks on here? OMG,dont go with the imagery,rather just have the narrator do his thing and leave the natural sound the environment throws out.
The music is way too loud
