Beerburrum Beginners Ride by a Beginner

Only new to offroad, I decided to attended a Beginners ride ran by Trail Riders Australia (TRA). The ride was in an around Beerburrum state forest with 20+ riders (not sure how many) with a mixed bag of skills from veteran mx racers through to complete noobs like me.
Just incase you were wondering why the "WTF" towards the end. We came across this guy (a.k.a hobbit) that was out riding by himself in the middle of nowhere. His clothing was held together with rope and this guy had plenty of things he didn't need (old used spark plugs, multi-grips) but none of the things you commonly need like wheel spanner, chain link, tubes ect. In the end we got him going, but it was an experience.
Overall had a brilliant day and discovered some fantastic tracks. Watching some of the skilled riders really provides some inspiration. I so desperately want to learn how to wheelie, so if anyone has any tips please do share.

Excellent! I love your little speech bubbles... "knew you wouldn't get far" hahaha. I assume you were roll starting him? Glad the technique worked! Its not super easy out in the bush on a rough track.

Spoke to speech bubble guy, he said often people buzz past and then soon after crash. Yeah that technique rocks, I have tried on the tarmac before and yes much much easier, cheers ;)
Great video and fun(ny), you ride well for a "noob". I'm envious of the beautiful trails you have...

Hy, nice video and very nice trails indeed! Just two questions: where exactly are these trials, and how can i join? I expect it to be at least a bit organized since you're with quite a few. I will be in Mapleton from next week on and am definitely getting a motor! Can someone join with a bike without any plates?

This is at Beerburrum State Forest just north of Brissy. This particular ride was organised through www.trailrideraustralia.com/. By law you should ride a registered bike (most do) but some take the risk.
how do you know when there is beginners rides on or intermediate rides???
