This is the first part of a video on Beer Quality Control, Beer Lab Equipment, Microbiology and Testing, Beer Sensory Analysis and Sensory Panels, and more, including Plating, pH Tests and Equipment Calibration, Fast Fermentation Tests, and Using Mass Spectrometers, Gas Chromatograph, Head Space Analyzers, etc. in craft breweries. This was part of Ron Smith's (Beer MBA) IUPUI (Indiana University and Purdue University at Indianapolis) Essentials of Brewery Operations Course, an Intensive 7-Day Certificate Program (see link below). This video was shot during the Covid Pandemic of 2020 to complete the course online, so it is just a simple piece, put together quickly with no editing, bells or whistles, but the content is great.
