I think *every* musical genre ends up going through a "___ sucks" phase sooner or later. :-) From what I remember, Disco entered that phase when the genre got oversaturated with too many second- and third-rate acts trying to jump on the bandwagon, and people just got burned out on it.

Our grandparents, parents and some of my contemporaries, music was to dance with; sound tracks to lives. Advice from an oldie, always dance with your wife.

Thanks so much for reacting to this one, Jamel. I hope someday soon you'll play a whole block of their music. There's still a TON of great songs out there by them.

Luby maybe you didn't know this. I was shocked when I found out too. They did not write the music for Saturday night fever these. I mean they wrote it but these songs were written before the movie was ever made and it's sat on a shelf for I don't know how long. And when the movie came out they decided to look at this music and see if it would fit. Are you s******* me? It's the greatest music ever you couldn't have written it. Better for the movie when the movie came out. This just was such a natural fit that it was unbelievable. Look it up and see for yourself. Everything needs boys ever did was so incredible and that's why. There has never been a better group than The Bee Gees for anything in the world ever. And they're never will be again any guys like they were. God bless them all.
