It's not wrong to love and care for yourself, but people should stop pushing the toxic idea that we can live without anyone You shouldn't be striving to isolate yourself and create a perfect insulated environment for yourself to live in all by your lonesome - since we're inherently social creatures, that notion itself is impossible to begin with What you should be striving for is surrounding yourself with good people while still valuing yourself I'm still struggling with myself, however
