My favorite song! Love when Barry and Robin go toe to toe on the high notes! So much talent!

Maurice did his share of high notes you know! He had the highest voice on many of their songs, and his voice was not falsetto but a headvoice.

Fanny Be Tender is a genius masterpiece from the amazing Brothers Gibb - Sir Paul McCartney and Quincy Jones praise this song as the best RnB ballad what they ever heard in their live - no more to say when three magic voices at their peak are coming together 🔥

Excellent reaction. Great song. They go nuts with the falsettos in yhis one. They all can hit the falsetto notes.
They all have perfect pitch, very wide ranges, started young, and were very comfortable making the transition between head and chest voices. Super talented musical geniuses. Their music really is some of the best ever! Thanks for helping to keep it alive.

Your reaction Texas Love is the best I have ever seen you can't top smiling I really think the Bee Gees are the top band of their time, the top band. Super talent!!!
Just when you think they cannot possibly get any better, they somehow do!
The smile on your face says it all. 😊
It truly thrills me to see the joy on your face as you gradually learn the countless sides of these peerless brothers.
After the 70s disco backlash for being too popular and successful they went behind the scenes and wrote and produced for others. Late 80s saw a comeback and again in the 90s. Now people are back to appreciating them with a whole new audience as well.

Those back in the days rejecting them, did not know what a treasure they the BeeGees were and now more then ever in the music industry!!
The 1:25 part is Barry and Robin simultaneously. The dueling falsettos at the end between Barry and Robin is great, each one going higher. Maurice could sing falsetto or even low baritone. He had a great range and filled in any holes in the harmony. Although all had unique voices the familial tone often made it hard to distinguish who was singing what and they often sang at the same time.
@lizz5235

Maurice did not sing falsetto. Maurice had a headvoice which gave him a slightly better high note range and he sang many of the high harmonies.
They wrote the top selling country song of all time...Islands in the Stream for Kenny and Dolly. Wrote albums as well for Barbra Streisand and Diana Ross. Once you're down the rabbit hole...all I can say is Welcome.

Don't forget to check out their younger brother, Andy Gibb!
Because of the several tracks .. they if I'm correct rarely didthis song live. It's my absolute favorite.
I just love ur smiling face as ur enjoying the music!
Please react to FOR WHOM THE BELL TOLLS LIVE by the BEEGEES thanks
Love your reaction when they go from Falsetto to Baritone and back again.
I lived during this beautiful time of music. Sadly like so many of the other greats of the past, it was only after their passing that their true greatness was recognized.
They changed with the time in and out of every genre except maybe heavy metal... Country pop rock disco jazz 🎶 these guys were muti faceted openly diversified before most of there fellow artists at the time And they had enough creativity and talent to hold their own when the 80s and 90s came around. They were respected so much that they could finally explore their own interests in other musical sounds with songs like bodyguard fir whom the bell tolls etc... They were the complete package of musical innovation and genius.❤
Totally agree! "There are levels of talent", well, this is the Everest of talent. Hugs from Mexico City!
There was never a point, era or genre, when The Bee Gees weren't recognized as the best "3 Piece" harmony group on the planet. 3 MORE: Love So Right -- Inside and Out -- Run to Me .... 3 more great ones. 👍
Maybe my fav song of all time...
This one of my favorites! They got slammed during the disco peak. So they went to producing and writing for Barbara Striesand, Dolly Parton/Kenny Rogers, and Diana Ross. There was a movement called disco sucks and the mob punished them. I don't care, I think they are so special.

This song should have been 7 mins. My God it's just perfect... Barry and Robin team up falsetto. Just ####### unbelievable!!! Bee gees were so diversified any genre and Barry wrote for so many famous artists too.
Even though they are showing Robin, it is Barry and Robin singing together, then Mo comes in on the harmony.
I wish music was like this now! We surely could use it! Good old love songs! Brings back wonderful memories!

The baritone was Maurice on the left (playing bass) Tenor is Robin (center stage) who also had an amazing falsetto and Barry on the right who had the best falsetto ever. And they had been playing as a group together since the late 50's The Brothers Gibb were much more than a disco band. They wrote dozens of songs for the biggest acts in music including Barbara Streisand and Celine Dion.

I like the way you genuinely enjoy their music. Most of them are gone now, but we will always have their music.
There is quite a story with these guys, you should look into it. The way I remember it, I hung out with kind of a rough crowd, and NO ONE admitted to listening to the BeeGees but when you were in the car, and their songs came on the radio, EVERYONE knew their songs. There was a point when they were so hated they couldn't show their faces in public, but they were still writing songs for other people and having #1 hits. They were kind of held responsible for killing Rock and Roll and bringing on Disco. They wrote and performed most of the songs on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack, but at the time they were holed up in a secluded spot writing and recording and had no idea how popular the movie and soundtrack were until later. It's all very interesting and worth a little research.
After disco they stopped singing and just wrote music. To drop the perception of disco. The they came back 2 years later with the song One. And they were back.
I love watching you doing reactions. The joy is all over your face and your smile is contagious.
You are doing great. Daisy
One of the last song before 2 of the brothers past. Alone...
One of my top 3 bee gee songs of all time a true masterpiece.
In the 70s there was so much music. With Rock and Pop a lot to listen too But The Bee Gees we’re bringing out the hits
This song is rarely reviewed but its soooooo good
From falsetto/head voice down to chest voice/normal range, then back and forth, takes practice. Many men cannot get as high a falsetto as Barry can get and his brothers can get nearly as high. And when they sing in different combinations they sound like a whole another person. They don't often sing this song in concert because of the difficulty. They got labeled disco and their music didn't get played in the early 80s at all which is why they produced and wrote for others.
Brings tears to my eyes 😢
Go to Wikipedia and read about “Disco Demolition Night”. I was 21 and the disco music pretty died out soon. I hope this next generation will bring this music back.
Wooohooo it's like a car ride with the windows rolled down! What an exciting joy ride. 🔥💥🔥💥

Maurice (. The man in the middle ) Although he was on the left hand side side all the time , he was a multi talented guy who play the guitar , Piano , Organ, these 3 guys were consummated musicians and Maurice was always the hidden jewel among his brothers , he was the brains behind “ Nights on Broadway “ A very difficult Rock Master Piece, If you haven’t played that song play it please , it’s another one that came out of the brains and hearts of these British Genius’s Composers , they were really Fantastic and Unique .
Robin, he's mostly always in the middle, has a versatile range (they all do), so he is able to support & compliment both of his brother's voices very well, PERFECT harmony!!❤ Exceptionally, beautiful song
In my top 3, easily. Thank you for the great pleasure of witnessing your sincere astonishment!! Maurice tells the us the source of the name "Fanny." They were staying in the same rental house on Ocean Boulevarde that RSO/Atlantic got for Eric Clapton months earlier. He famously urged the Bee Gees to move to the US to Miami for the fnatastic creative vibes the locale gave him. The BGs were going nowhere in England, so when they first moved to Miami to record at Criterion Studios, they stayed at that house. Their hired housekeeper named "Fanny" walked by their workroom, near the moment Maurice had asked Barry and Robin if putting a woman's name in the song would make it even better. Fanny was the lucky woman immortalized in song! The rest of the story went on (not from Maurice) that when the brothers finished with the song's demo, they played it for Fanny and she cried. BTW, Fanny passed away fairly recently, still famous for that honor.

Amazing story! That must have been so special for Fanny!
They have also written hundreds of songs that have been song by other great artists.
with singers like these it always makes me wonder if they participated in the high school choir groups and if they did what a treat for the student body and their music teacher. Great voices! Pure gold. Thank God they were young in the 70's. It was definitely their era. Can you imagine the BeeGees in the era of hip hop and rap? It would have been a waste of the voices and talent.
I consider this song to be their masterpiece. My absolute favorite song. I’ve read that it was their mom’s favorite as well. It’s perfect. It gives me goosebumps every time I hear it. 😊
Well Texas Love you were certainly having a great reaction to this song - they are without doubt the best group for harmonies you will EVER hear. Falsetto, headvoice, tenor or baritone whichever one comes along the lads can cover it. It is totally astounding they could spread their voice ranges when it was necessary and tone, accent and everything blending. WOW!
Unfortunately, there was a period that it was “cool” to hate the BeeGees. Very sad indeed. They deserved everyone’s respect. I love that you give them that
The Bee Gees penned the most successful country duet of all time: Islands in the Stream sung by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers
When I watch these vids I’m always saddened by the fact that only Barry is still with us. What a loss! Check out Alone, it’s like a video tribute from Barry to his 3 brothers
As far as country music goes, well they wrote Islands In The Stream recorded by Dolly Parton and Kenny Roger's. Enough said!
P.s. they themselves didn't have country hits, but they wrote come on over that olivia newton john had a hit with, Conway Twitty took their song rest your love on me to #1, and they wrote islands in the stream for Kenny Roger's and dolly Parton. Barry performed at the grand ol opre after Robin died, and barry did the album greenfield, with country stars covering a bunch of bee gees hits, so country has been pretty accepting of them.
The changing voice is Barrys
Everyone who listens to them experiences pure JOY
You should listen to their pre-disco songs from the 60s. Just as good but different. They were always talented.
The harmonies in this are unbelievable and it's possible this is my favorite Bee Gees song ever...and that's saying something. BTW...they wrote all their songs too. Good to see you enjoying them so much!
