Im watching this now when Juniper, your second child is 7 months old! I love how you theme things, im exactly the same with kids parties. I have to do it even if its a simple cake and friends thing now they are older. I did a butterfly party for my daughters first birthday with everything themed even some games for older kids, lolly bags and prizes, food, all themed. It was so fun!

Make cupcakes and the larger cake both. The beehive cake would be a great centerpiece with cupcakes around it.

OMG his "bee-day" party is SO precious!!!! My daughter is turning 6 months old in a couple weeks and I have already started thinking about ideas for her first birthday lol. Loved seeing the party planning process from start to finish! I also love using Pinterest for party planning. I wasn't sure if I wanted a Cricut, but I think I will be adding one to my Christmas list later this year. With a baby on the way I think I will get a lot of use out of it especially for birthday parties like you showed.

Our birthday plans got cancelled because of the pandemic :/ This video is so helpful since now we are planning to stay home and do something small. I think I will try the balloon thing, but I'm not very crafty... Also, was the easel worth it?
