Ok answering our most asked question here... why didn't we just flip the boards over? It was mostly a time issue! We were on a bit of a deadline with this project, and the nails weren't coming out easily or cleanly, which would mean more filling and sanding. I can still reuse them later, but for time's sake, we saved ourselves some stress and a few hours of work and decided to just spend the extra $40 on wood!

I love that rug, accent wall, chair and pillows. I LOVE it all

That accent wall has a very mid century modern feel to it. The rug coordinates beautifully. The whole bedroom is lovely and has such a cozy feeling to it!
