Size 1000 is good enough for our legal grounds pb fishing. If you're going for those areas with plenty of cover. Size 2500 with heaviet line is needed. Kims wise 10lb is good enough with good leather line 20lbs.

As a start you can look into Daiwa Finesse LT 1000 for the reel and Daiwa Ajing X for the rod which are affordable. Line wise you can start with 2.3lb pinky 👍

However, even when you hook them on heavy set up, they dive into the jetty pillars and most likely your line will snap 😂 Unless you can lure with a 100lb mono main line. In that case your line wont snap even they go below the jetty 😎🎣 Some are just lucky the fish don't go into the pillars in that way the fish can be caught 👍

@@aronngarcia2622 ajing players tend to use line poundage 2lb and below, tightening your drag will only increase the chances of your line bursting. and the other people around them uses bait while ajing players use artificial which means the bite rates for bigger catches are much lower. and so what if there are big fishes around? you might lose it but that's where the fun is. fishing is all about the fight you get from the fish and also enjoying yourself, not landing the fishes. ofc, landing a big fish is always good but you gotta enjoy the fight.
