I have only owned one Bedlington, and he has been gone for many years, but he was one of my favorite dogs in life...and I have had quite a few over the decades. I still consider looking for another one, because they are very unique and beautiful.

I know the breed since my childhood. One of the best breeds ever for active family households.

I lost my Bedlington terriers 3 yrs ago milly was 17 6months later teddy died of broken heart he was 14 sweetest natured dogs i groomed my dogs myself like these two you milly was blue teddy was white my favourite dogs ever so well behaved you can take them anywhere never met an aggressive one yet ❤❤

Yeah need lot of grooming i cut my two every 5_6 weeks for 17yrs but enjoed every minute ❤❤

Thankfully, my groomer on the first visit said "Do you want ear pom-poms" and I said "No. This is a family dog, not a show dog. No need to make him look silly."

Yes! I groomed my Bedlington myself...and he was pom-pom free! I can only imagine the look he would have given me..."Dad, I'm a Spartan...not a Poodle".😁

I don’t t understand why people want Bedlingtons to look like that, when natural they are so gorgeous and adorable .
