Regular bedding provides a dry area to lie and improves hygiene in the pens. Precisely customised to the needs of the animals in each pen, the health of the animals is permanently improved. The only work required is to fill the port with round or square bales, which are then automatically chopped using a patented chopping system and straw screen. The straw is fed to the Flypit on a conveyor belt, or directly from the port. Thanks to rails installed in the ceiling, the Flypit accesses every corner inside the pen to provide fresh bedding in the form of shredded straw several times a day.
