Xavier Scheepers studied saxophone at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, class of Arno Bornkamp, where he graduated 'Cum Laude' in 2003. He participated in masterclasses by Delangle, Fourmeau, Sugawa, Johnsson, Horch, Kelly, Marzi and Nozy.
He performed with orchestra's like the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra and with conductors like Valery Gergiev, Wayne Marshall, Marc Soustrot, Christian Jarvi etc.
He is a member of AdoSa saxohonequartett. He also played many premieres with pianists Ralph van Raat and composers like Van Beurden, Lotichius etc dedicated several pieces to him as a soloist and the duo with Van Raat.
As a soloist Xavier Scheepers palyed in the Netherlands, Germany, Switserland, France, Spain, Oman and Belgium with orchestra's like the Rundfunk Blasorchester Leipzig and the Junge Deutsche Blaeserphilharmonie NRW.
As a teacher Xavier Scheepers was invited to teach at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, ARTeZ Enschede, Fontys Conservatorium Tilburg and the Hochschule fuer Musik Augsburg and Karlsruhe
